Right!! i agree with you ALL!!! after i gave him/her a piece of my mind, they said they appoligize greatly and realized that a simple, "i am over 18" would suffice and they realized they did not need PAPER PROOF to sell to me!! wtf. I mean, now im worried about even buying from them?!! Im scared i wont get my liquid after paying him/her through paypal! what do you all think?

I think you'll probably get your liquid. They could have had nefarious intent, but it's more likely they're just an uptight, somewhat paranoid type who wouldn't dream of stealing. But I personally wouldn't do any business with them after this. It's just too weird.

If you are worried, don't do it. Imo, someone may have just been worried about selling to someone under age. You can look and see if they have positive feedback if they have sold anything else.

I looked, there was no positive nor negative. and not much activity shown on their profile. ? sooo idk. i wanted to get their liquid bc its much cheaper than what the website charges for the liquids he has.

Don't know exactly what kinda stuff you are looking for, but there are lots of vendors out there lol. Have you looked under the Forum Suppliers page?

If it is a newer person, and/or very low post count, the odds are that they just had no idea what is reasonable to ask for. They didn't want to do something bad, just had not thought through that asking for an image of an ID is a bit over the top.

I wouldn't worry about receiveing your product through the classifieds. I've probably bought more stuff through the classifieds than through vendors. Well, maybe not as much but it's been alot. Not only have ALL my deals went through with ease, I've also made a few friends along the way. This forum and the ecig community has some of the most trustworthy people in it.

If it's in the classifieds, its the prerogative of the seller.
It's stupid to do it, but that's their choice.
If I was concerned (to the point of paranoia) about supplying to a minor, I might ask for some form of verification. If you (the buyer) don't want to, that's your choice, and its the choice of the seller to refuse service.

I dont think anyone should worry about selling to a minor on this website. seriously. I mean, theres more of a chance actual vendors from their own website are selling to a minor than on here!!! I believe in order to have a paypal account you have to be over 18 because you have to have a bank account and all the banks I know don't open debit accounts for people under 18. Just sounds like someone wanted to get a live version of you, freak. You did the right thing by not showing your id and the next time someone questions your age tell them they can verify it with your method of payment. I wasn't carded for years, last time I got carded was on my 38th birthday, I proudly whipped out my ID, and I kept thanking the woman that asked for it too! When I buy alcohol I hold it in hand hoping someone will ask to see it, they never do anymore.

My daughter got a debit account when she was 14. I had to be on the account too, but she did have a card.

My daughters account is in my name too and she is 16, the bank won't let her withdraw money directly from the bank even though they are clearly 2 separate accounts. Does she have paypal or could she open a paypal?
