between here and there
Welcome to ecf.

Glad to have you here. Sounds like you are well on your way to a smoke-free life. Wait until the taste buds come back. You will be surprised at the flavors you will like.

And please for those who do not know, increase your liquid intake. Always have your fav beverage close by. vaping will dry you out big time. It also makes the vaping experience so much smoother.

Good luck on your journey. Let us know how it is going and if you have questions feel free to ask. Always someone home here that can answer 24/7/365.

:)

This morning at about 7:15 AM was when I hit the one full week without a cigarette mark!

I've been tempting myself every morning by pulling one of those last 3 cigarettes out of my tin, smelling it, putting it in my mouth, taking an unlit "puff", and then putting it back in the tin and heading off to work. I haven't even come close to wasting to light it. It seems that I just don't want them any more. I'm going to flush them when I get home tonight. ::cool:

I actually keep a pack around, and feel victorious every time I look at it and don't want one. Which is every time.

Glad to hear the transition was so easy for you. I found that your experience is very similar to mine. After 10 years of smoking, I bought my MVP mod, some menthol liquid, and quit smoking analogs the day I got my PV. I have been almost 3 weeks off real smokes and haven't had a craving for them once, even when I am around people smoking them.

Although I will admit I have run into some annoying problems that has made me wish I could just smoke a cigarette without worrying about burnt hurts or having to clean atomizers, this forum has taught me that the world of vaping is a learning experience, and as time goes on, things will only get easier and that in the long run, quitting analogs for good will vastly improve my health. Just the couple weeks I have been analog free my nose is already clearing up.

I hope that you continue to be analog free. :D

Hi MD_Boater!

Vapedojo is AWESOME! Sadly I live about an hour and a half south of there and can't get up there very often, but I love it when I do. The owners are GREAT people and will take care of you every time! Next time you are there, try the blueberry vanilla tobacco juice, it is one of my favorites.

Congrats on quitting! I am not nearly as well off, I get between 4-6 days just vaping before I find someone to bum a smoke or two. My longest stretch has been 21 days, and I keep trying, but I wish it was as easy for me as it was for you.

You picked a great starter kit, it should last you quite a while.

Welcome to the forums!

Thank you! Today is day #12 without an analog. I bought a few new juices over the past week. All of them are 12mg. When those are gone, I'm going to start buying 6mg. I hope to get to 0mg juice just after the 1st of the year. Then, I will be vaping just for the flavor and hand to mouth satisfaction. I hope it is that easy...
