Hi. Newbie here. I'm researching the forbidden pleasures of vaping. I am currently a 4-5 cig/day closet smoker. I have tried Thrive lozenges and they help. I was able to go cig free for almost a week a little while back. I was using the nicorette inhaler at that time. I was using about a cartridge per day. Then I fell off the bandwagon.

I'm in Canada so actually getting Nic juice might be hard. Coming from a few weeks of the nicorette inhaler., I'm wondering if any of you have tried Unflavored Nicotine in your vapes?

My plan is to be a closet vaper. I have 2 young kids and it's not something I want them to get into. I hope to be vaper free and smoke free in 6 months or less.

Unflavored just means that no flavoring has been added, but it still has a taste to it and it can vary from almost flavorless to a somewhat mild tobacco flavor, at least in my opinion and experience. But why not use flavored juice. Most don't have an odor, and those that do are generally pleasant to smell, so in your closet vaper scenario it wouldn't matter much.

Yeah, I'd describe the Nicorette inhaler to have a slightly hot taste, similar to the sensation that you'd have with an unlit cigar in your mouth. The inhaler does have the throat 'hit' especially on the 1st drag if you haven't used it for a couple hours.

I might like the unflavoured if I could get my hands on it. I've emailed a couple cdn websites inquiring.

Thx, Peter

I may be the odd ball, but unflavored is my adv LOL. I have trouble tasting the flavored ones so only use them once a day or so for a short time. I do 50/50 pg/vg and it has a slight sweet flavor to it.

I'm in your league. Disappointed, after collecting about a couple of dozens of flavored e-liquids, I started to DIY my own. It turned out to miserable. Then, out of frustration, I started vaping the unflavored 24mg Nic ingredient. VIOLA! Quest done! Unflavored Nic is now my daily vape, 50/50 VG/PG.

I like unflavored. It is also great to use to cleanse your pallet. I can vape unflavored and then when I get my peach out.. it really pops. Just my :2c: I will also add that it is cheap and easy to make yourself and wonderful for playing with new flavorings. Good luck to you and welcome to the forum. It's a wonderful place for information, help and support.
