I polish them, starting with 250 grit and finishing with 12000 grit (yes 12k) in 10 steps and it takes ages to do but so worth it for the finish I get and it is done wet.

Hi Low. Good to see you!! I don't get around much anymore, so thanks for popping in!I honestly don't know. As you can probably see, he has certainly come a long way from the first ones he did a year ago. All he told me was "wait till you see how I improved the finish on these, Cat. They are gleaming"! It has to do with a certain "grit"? and he got a new fancy lathe from what I hear, too. Hope all is well with you Low.

The ID is 16mm and the OD is 20mm but is you have a look at Bedazzled she make tubes just for my tanks look for the ones that are labeled Unique.
Sorry cat and classy. I guess I wasn't clear enough. The point I wanted to make was missed. (Buy the way, i never offered to sell anything). We're getting rid of almost all of our carto tanks. And the only ones my wife wanted to keep are her uniques. That's what I wanted people to see. I didn't imply anything else except cat's and ash's are her favorites and she won't part with them. I wasn't trying to sell. I thought I was doing a good thing for an old friend.
