"Unique" tanks

I have an idea.......

(I know, you're mumbling "uh oh"..... )

Why don't we take ourselves over to Jacqui's thread? The lounge threads are fine for chit chat, but this way we'd stay together with our commonality of our gorgeous tanks, AND help one another figure out tankfits, AND support another wonderful ECF'er!

What do you ladies think? Good idea? Bad idea? Mediocre idea?

I think that's a fab idea! Ya think Jacqui will think so, too? I've been thinking about enlisting her to make me a tank deco, anyway.

CatCat - I bought a beautiful J-Wrap for my ugly MVP & think I'm going to put my tank on it. It's brown, with a big,beautiful ivory magnolia. I bought as my tank was being shipped. The only prob is that it stands up so high.... For now, I have it on a Touchwood mod & it looks good on there. The Touchwood is plain, so I will definitely need some Jacqui bling!

I had this wrap for a long time before I switched it out. It's beautiful if this is the one I'm thinking you got. OMG!! that ivory tank on it with a Jacqui wrap would be gorgeous!!

That's the one!! I thought it was g-o-r-g-e-o-u-s! but, with the tank, my mvp looks like it's about 10 feet tall. As much as I like using my mvp, I have always-absolutely-hated the way they look with a tank. They sure provide good service, though.

I won't invade Jacqui until after we have our "closing up shop" celebration here.

Mommay, I think it will look fine on your mvp. Maybe you just have to get used to it. I thought the same thing until I blinged mine up. Let me see if I have a pic with a tank on my mvp. Here we go: This was a long time ago...before I knew about bling rings.


and here is a shot from this morning I tried to put together for a visual. If I was getting a Jacqui wrap specifically for this mod, I would have more dangles that drop down further to balance out the length...just an idea hon. Also, this is the first mvp that came out. They changed it and the bling ring would not stick out with the newer model. The newer model is much nicer.

Thanks for the pics, CatCat. I think you're right & the bling ties it together nicely so you don't notice that unGodly neck-post sticking up (even with a so-called beauty ring). I have some wonderful small copper chains & some gorgeous, old, vintage, natural ivory beads from my bead-making days, too. What else do I have stashed away? Hmmm.

Wow, what a great pic QTpie. You totally got the color to show up well for this tank. Beautiful. I noticed the other day that Kathy does have some fauceted bedazzled tubes left in both Unique and Aluminus on her site. I love my fauceted tube and perhaps should get another as a back up.

Hello gals!! I know everyone who ordered tanks are fine...but how are you doing with yours Hula and Mommay?? Everything fine??

A reminder that Kathy (bedazzle) offered to make tubes if we wanted as another option. Maybe we could think about what we want and let her know? She would need to know what type of designs we wanted. I am so busy today...but if someone gets a chance, maybe they could put a shout out to her and maybe she even has something to show us so we could decide.

Hi catcat! Haven't had chance to play lately - work's been crazy AND the condo repiping project finally rolled round to my unit, so it's noise and dust and disorganized right now. The plumbers are hard workers and they're getting it done so that's the main thing.

And I would love one of those tubes with the white flowers on like what you've got catcat ( I think it's yours - it would go great with the lime!

Oh how I detest "house stuff" and people working in my home! Makes me absolutely nuts! I can't focus or concentrate on anything with workers around, yet I'm always so appreciative when it's completed. Hope yours gets done quickly, Mulahoon!

Yes, I think the tubes with the white flowers and leaves are beautiful and they go with just about everything. The only tube that I think would look good with something different...is mommays ivory, it needs contrast. Maybe the wire wraps are perfect for it because of the beautiful wrap she got.

KD put a shout out to melting glass/Kathy. Maybe we will hear from her soon. She's probably enjoying all the fun of summer about now.
