Good point, but how long does the carto last inside the tank? If I recall correctly, they cost $6 each, and I had to toss them after 3 or 4 fillings.

No, at IBtanked, they're $1.50 each, or $1.35 if you buy 10 or more. Most people find that they last from 1-2 wks, and I've even heard as long as 3 wks, but it depends a great deal on the juice -- my juice is REALLY sweet, so I tend to go thru them really fast, like every 3-4 days.

If IBtanked is out of stock (as they often are!), you can find them at LJ's Esmokes for $1.52 each.

Thanks Andria, at that price a carto tank might be my answer. Meanwhile I got a really sweet deal on a Magma that Towelie posted above - around $16 after discount. The only other thing left to try is the BVC suggested by glasseye. Thanks everyone again for the great help.

Yeah, and as I said, you can get a nice Smok cartotank at Vapor Kings for $6 -- I use the Large UDCT, it holds about 5.5ml (I think it says 6ml, but you need that bit of airspace at the top) -- way more than I can usually vape in a day! :D They don't seem to have any pyrex ones, but this one says it's not polycarbonate, so it could probably withstand some of the more troublesome juices.

Sure there are fancier, more expensive tanks out there, but my budget doesn't run to unnecessary bling. :D I like the UDCT because it holds the carto in place in 2 directions -- you can't pull the tank up off the carto, and the carto doesn't spin around in the tank when you go to remove it from the mod.

I don't even really like dripping but I like my Magma. (clone) Currently my dad has it though. It's pretty much like a RDA tank. It's a dripper but the wells are so deep that it may as well be a tank. I think you will like it.

While I am waiting for the Magma to arrive, I am watching lots of videos on how to fix the problem with leaking out of the air hole. Have you or your dad had this issue with yours?

Just a counterpoint - unlike Andria, I never had a less expensive tank work properly, that's why I recommended IBTanked. I'm happy you're happy Andria!! I just had bad luck with several tanks not wicking right, due to lower quality seals, etc. I do have a bunch of even pricier tanks, but that was mostly about aesthetics (plus some airflow and refilling advantages, etc).

Also, if you DO still want cartos for tanks, I get mine here - wide selection, and once you know what you like, $1.14 each (5 box bundles).
