Been a big day but it sure has paid off. :D

And of course I immediately filled it with The Virus, thank you guys so much for leading me to the Reos promise lands! So much easier than dripping every few pulls. Now I am going to go vape my face off in the garage, because this is too much vapor for in the house by the dogs.

Congrats on the Reo. It's perfect with NT

How's the twisted coil working on the Reo? I have been thinking about trying one.

I really enjoy them, they are much easier to work with than a single strand of 28ga. twisting them gives them some rigidity. And I can't be sure of this since I don't have anyone else that to taste the difference besides me but I swear the flavor is more pronounced with the twisted. What I have noticed is that the juice goes from the wick into the twists of the coil and is immediately vaporized.

I like to take the wire and lock it in my power drill to straighten each strand (RipTripper tip) then put both back in the drill for a really tight twist.

The only downside if there is one is they take just a little longer to heat up than a single strand so I tend to hit the button a second or two before I start to take a pull. Now once I get the jewelry wire wrapper that is featured in SXMXDrifter's video I will be exclusively doing single strand micro coils.

Nice choice and a great looking twisted coil! The Silver Vein was my second REO...

Soooooo,,, When are you getting your second one...

lol When my notification goes off for a woodvil.

And thank you, my first coils were pretty rough but I am getting the hang of it I think.

According to Rob, he is expecting them to be released in January! A Woodville will be my late vapeversay gift to myself!

i so need one of those! congrats :)

Thanks! They are pretty neat, I was loving my StingrayX/MutX combo but having to refill after about 5-6 good pulls was getting tiresome. Now I can just throw my ADV in the Reos and if I get a little dry hit 3 second squeeze and I am back in business.

But I am still going to run my StingrayX when I want to vape something other than The Virus/Wakonda, which will be soon with all the different NT juices I love to taste them all throughout the day.

Nice! and congrats!

My tips for the RM4:

-use a different DT, then the one that came with it
-play with coil position, the holes in the top cap are pretty high up.. try to get the coil directly in from of them (yours looks pretty good, maybe just a mm higher)
- try to keep the wicks from touching the sides of your top cap- keep the coils centered on the deck...yours looks great... this will help minimize juice having a chance to get where its not supposed to..

The RM4 is a great atty, although, it takes me a couple builds to get one that Im content with. I liked the single coils, then moved on to duals. 0.5ohm duals is the build I still have in mine. I've recently switched to the Odin. Its a bit more forgiving, but the flavor is slightly less, IMHO... but Im alright with it.

Good eye, on the Artistic wire coil gizmo. I got mine at micheals, with a coupon, for less that $8 bucks... definitely worth it!

Oh yea, I use an oring underneath the atty too. I just use one of the bottle cap orings... makes the atty sit more secure and gets rid of the small gap... ;)

Thanks for the tips I will keep them in mind on the next build, and it's funny you mention the drip tip I yanked the one that came with it off after the first few puffs and put the one that came with my MutX on it. So much better! :D

And I appreciate the compliments, only been building about a week so it gives me great confidence to know I am already getting close to nailing it.

LOL, awesome!

Yea, I forgot to mention.. slanted coils worked pretty great in this atty... especially with duals...So that your wick can sit comfortably on the side, to deliver juice higher up to the coil, and ... I just like to stick with regular horizontal coils, though. I like having juice come up from both sides, for insurance that the wick is completely saturated...

What are you using for wick?

I am using organic cotton from Walgreen's but am going to grab some KGD I think (Japanese cotton) as soon as I can.

I haven't used walgreens... but other organic (USA- fresh from the field) cotton and then rayon, and now all I use is the Cotton Labo Puff. Some people say its not KGD, so its not good...but its basically identical as one could ever get to KGD... close enough for me and works great/easy to use, and cheaper! Takes a while to get here, though..(~3 weeks)...

http://www.amazon.com/Cotton-Labo-ORGANIC-Puff-200pc/dp/B000TCD51A

Rayon doesn't seem to give dry hits though, and might last a bit longer... but is a little bit harder to estimate the proper amount, IMO.

Walgreens cotton is actually working really well from my very limited experience. I don't notice any odd flavor in fact it seems to be a cleaner taste than what comes out of my nautili. And it wicks really well I was getting 6-7 long 5-6 second puffs off of one dripping in the MutX. I do know if I try something that's a little more $$ and I can't tell the difference I'll probably stick with it since I can get it right up the street for $3.99/100 cotton balls. That is the only down side being in ball form I wind up with a lot of left overs.

Edit: I just looked at that link and for $9.00 it's comparable to 2 of the Walgreen's in price and I would much rather work with a sheet like that than the cotton ball type.If I order it now with something over $25.00 I get one day shipping free, and it just so happens I need the Deoxit pen and Cleaner booster. Win Win get to try new wick and stuff to protect the Reo.

I think I just typed myself into it.

I don't know what I would have done without his videos my very first builds were successful and safe after watching them. Plus he's cute as a button what with all of that REO enthusiasm. LOL

They did the same thing to me! I think we also should be full enablers and carry it forth!

Congrats, its a game changer with these two combos!
