Hey Yall. I just wanted to give a quick update. I posted last week asking if it was worth tryin vaping again to quit smoking and would I see health benefits. I am happy to reports I've been analog free since Friday. Longest I've gone since I started smoking 14ish years ago. Makes me sick/ashamed to think its been 14 years. After my post on Wednesday I decided to go ahead and try vaping again. Well by Friday I was havin a bad day with my health and just not feeling well. So out of the blue around 1PM I just said enough and ended up diggin out my V4L batteries, one carto and some crappy Desertship e liquid I've had for awhile. I placed a order to AVE for some Bobas and a order to Halo for some cartos and Torque. Through the weekend I used that crappy 12mg e juice to great success (horrible tasting stuff, but kept the nic fits at bay.) I sit here now smoking on a nice fresh carto of Torque which I am totally loving and not missing Analogs at all.

Quickie side review:

Boba's Bounty 18mg - Awesome vapor, throat hit great and taste unique but familar - To me its a really good honey flavor, I can see why people say Graham cracker, does have some buttery taste. but to me its just really good honey and I'm usually not a honey lover. Doesn't remind me of a tobacco flavor at all. Its a must try for everyone... Not too sweet, not too bitter, not tobacco ...Just a really good juice.

Torque 56 18mg - Vapor is good for PG base, throat hit is a MULE KICK! and taste to me is very complicated. This stuff really satisfys, I have not tried tons of eliquid but out of all the ones I have tried this is IT! Especially for tobacco what I get is a slight menthol, cola, peppery like flavor. Reminds me of a Newport Light in away. Its definitely a tobacco flavor and what other reviews have said, described it as an ashtray taste which I can see but its not disgusting at all. It just feels like a really good analog replacement. Someone recommeneded it in my last weeks post. TY TY TY TY.

I will wrap this up, while I haven't seen vast improvements in how I feel I do notice subtle improvements and few side effects of not having analogs. Had a few nights of weird waking up spells, indigestion, and other mildly weird symptoms.

Once again thank you all for the encouragement you provide to others in their journeys in vaping whatever their reasons or motivations might be.

Adam

Keep up the good work. Feeling worse or "weird" while making the full time switch to vaping is not all that uncommon to some. Usually within a week or two you really start feeling better, or at the very least normal. Sounds like your body is just "resetting itself" so to speak.

Drink lots of water while your body goes through the detox process for all the other chemical you were inhaling outside of nicotine. While you couldn't tell a difference ... I can assure you your body does.

Congrats, Adam! Keep it up man...it sounds like you have the determination to make it work and you've got plenty of support here any time you need it.

Glad you found a juice you like. Don't give up on finding others you enjoy though as variety is also important to most vapers. Cruse through the juice reviews forum and see what sounds like your cup o' tea (or coffee, tobacco, fruit...). Vape on!

Adam, congrats on 4 days! You're on your way! Glad you found a flavor you like. Like others have said, it'll take a while for you to start feeling better, but you will. I smoked for 45 + years & I've been off the stinkies for almost 16 months. I know that without ecigs, I would've never quit, period. Keep up the good work & you'll make it. At first, I choose to vape & not smoke. I told myself IF I wanted a smoke I could have one. I choose to vape instead. That freed me from the thought that I could never smoke again. I could but I didn't. I have NO urge to smoke again. I WILL NEVER GO BACK, EVER.
