Keep in mind unflavored is not "flavorless" , it's really not bad at all

yes.. when I say "unflavored" I mean PG and VG (with nic) with no added flavors. I diy my own. I buy liquid nic in a PG base then use an online diy calculator to see how much PG and VG I need to add to get the desired percentages of each and the strength of nic I want.

My husband has the same problem. I've bought probably 30 different flavors for him. He loves the french toast liquid I got for him, but it just isn't enough. I think much of it is psychological.

Before we found e-cigs, if I even mentioned quitting he would start smoking twice as much. Just making him think about it made the cravings worse.

I was lucky. I never really liked smoking. Got hooked as a teenager and then had to smoke. He actually likes it, I think.

I hope you find something that works for you. I'm not going to give up trying to find something that works for him.
Good luck!

Unflavored?

Isn't that like Painting your House White and then Eating Vanilla Ice Cream afterwards?

Got to be a Flavor the OP Likes verses Unflavored.

I am grateful that someone suggested it to me. The op might just like white houses and vanilla.. or not.. it was just a suggestion.

You are right. And it all gets down to vape what you like.

And if a Person like Unflavored, doing DIY would be Dead Simple and Cheap also.

You might want to try some DIY stuff if it is just the flavor question.... If it is missing the tobacco you might want to try to look for some of the WTA (Whole Tobacco Alkaloids) juices. I've never tried them don't knwo jack about them but throwing it out there as a suggestion.

I'm not sure how the WTA vape. But if the snuff isn't doing it for you it might be the WTA delivery system (oral instead of inhaled).

I agree. You may be returning to analogs because of the lack of WTA in most e juices. My understanding is that the WTAs act synergistically with Nicotine on the pleasure centres of the brain (which in turn causes addiction).

so perhaps if you got your hands on some WTA juice that may help?

thanks for all the replies guys and girls..i just might have to try some unflavored and see how it goes...and BTW, yes....i'eve been vaping WTA non stop along with snus to no avail...doesnt help much...but maybe it's the fact that I don't like the flavors very much. I'm going to try unflavored to see how that turns out, maybe with just a pinch of halo juice just so that it's very mild and i'll see how that goes. I will post a little more on my findings later on...in a a bit of a rush right now...but thanks so far for all the support. As far as WTA goes, could be mental..some people say they only need 2 or 3 vapes a day and that satisfies their cravings? well i vape it all day, and it's the same WTA everyone else is vaping and I get no satisfaction what so ever...again, it could be because my intake is so high, and my nicotine tolerance is so high, that simply vaping is not doing the trick...after all, we still don't know how much vaping is requierd to equal 1 analog. Us vapers vape all day, but we really don't have anyting to compare it to when it comes to comparing to analogs...we just vape till we're satisfied...but without having a gauge, I always feel like my vapes are not giving me as much nic as an analog.
will report back.

Please don't take this as harsh or a criticism but I think it's quite possible that you don't really want to give up ciggies for vaping. And that's OK -- it is what it is. Smoking and vaping are different. If you WANT to do so, you can choose to give up ciggies and vape instead but they're not equal behaviors and habits.

Vaping isn't the perfect substitute for smoking. You either have to enjoy vaping for what it is (and not constantly compare it to smoking and lament what it's not) or you have to want to be done with analogs and committing to vaping as a means of helping you get there. But if you love analogs and you really don't enjoy vaping, then I don't think you'll be happy with any juice or hardware. Again, that's not a criticism -- it's just a thought.

I tried vaping about three years ago and really didn't like it. I went back to ciggies. But with all of the new hardware and juices on the market, I decided to take another look and give it a go six months ago. And it's been a new and different experience. I haven't had a real cig in almost six months and I'm treating vaping as a fun hobby. I'm mixing my own flavors now!

Deep in your heart and mind, you just might not want to vape. Maybe that will change and maybe it won't but there's nothing wrong with that, either way!

My husband lucked out early with intellicigUSA ecopure rich, and that's all he smokes. Me, I bounce around a little more, but my hands down favorite is MsTbakery vanilla custard.

I also just discovered that all my juices taste better in the Votex cartos from gotvapes. Not sure why. This is on a plain old ego T.

I've been vaping unflavored for a long time. I get mine 50/50 pg/vg so I get gobs of vapor, which I do like. most people think unflavored does have a flavor. it is actually one of my 3 daily vapes (other 2 are menthols). also, I've been vaping almost a year. within 2 months of starting I was down from 2+ pad to 2 cigs a day (shocking for me) I still smoke my 2 cigs a day, at night. I'm old and never really wanted to completely quit smoking, I liked smoking. and I still consider myself a complete success!

i mix different juices often. i have cherry which is 'ok' and cranberry, which is also 'ok' , but mixed half and half and it tastes much better.

also at the beginning when i was 'tasting' with the wrong device (egoT tank atomizer A & B) i gave up on about 14 various sized bottles of juice and mixed them all together. then discovered cartomizers, and the mixture/mess i made has been quite good :) can never tell what its going to taste like from one different carto to another :)

Since you're not getting the nicotine you desire have you tried holding vapor in your mouth longer and slow exhale through the nose? We absorb almost all our nicotine when vaping through mouth/nose , worth a try I think unless you're already doing that , then I have no clue. I rather enjoy unflavored nic joose flavor at times (especially when taste buds are "off" )

This might be insane, but I think I'll throw it out there anyway.
How about vaping a cr@p eCig? You know what a good one is, you know what an analog tastes like, so why not try to trick your mind into thinking it could be worse vaping?
I still have my old PV, and when I feel stuck or unsatisfied, I drag that out. Makes me feel happy I found a great PV to replace it with.
When it all gets said and done, it's about taste. A great PV is better than an OK one, and really- you can't compare it to an analog. An analog tastes like a stale version of a vape, truth be told. Even a cr@p PV is better than an analog.

When I first started vaping I vaped and smoked for the first 3 months. Gradually, as I began to get better equiptment (which certainly isn't your problem) and juices, I would smoke, then vape.. and it wasn't long till I liked vaping better than smoking.

I am lucky, I can't imagine (OK, I could) smoking an actual cigarette now.

Liberty Flights has a 30ml bottle of 24mg in PG that is pretty good on it's own, with the discount it's $8.
