Oh wow Leaford, you really might stay in China that long? I was just kidding in my earlier post, but as long as you like being there, it's cool.
I, like you, have a sort of anxiety about people, I need my 'alone' time, and because I work retail I interact with people all day. And China sounds so....CROWDED with people8-o
If you do decide to stay I will do my best to help you get Mike with you, got some connections;) How good they are will remain to be seen, just know that you are awesome for doing what you do, thank you.

Very handsome! I've always wanted to get a bird but avoided it because I used to smoke inside and know that birds are very sensitive to air quality. Maybe if I get the boyfriend converted, although I'm not sure how well the puppy and kitty would get along with one!

We've had Petey for 22 years with 2 smokers in the house and he's none the worse for wear He's a good boy and a happy birdy !!

Leaford, I just want to say THANK YOU for stepping up and sacrificing alot for the benefit of us Vapor4Life customers.

To leave behind your family, friends and of course Mike, and to stay in China the amount of time you plan on being there takes alot.

Thank you, thank you, thank you for doing what you do.

Merry Christmas

Max

Thanks, everyone, I seriously plan to be here as long as Steve lets me. I didn't commit to this lightly, I think it's what it takes to get the BEST quality. And it takes a constant presence, constant testing, constant oversight. I can do a lot in a few months, but there's no way to guarantee that everything won't be undone if I just go home again and leave them to their own devices.

And Leeshor, Petey's beautiful! I WAS worried about Mike, that was a BIG part of what prompted my decision to get off cigarettes. I used to have another bird, a peachfaced lovebird named Jamie. She died the summer of 2007, when she was going on 13 years old. That's old for a lovebird, but they can live up to 15 years, so I wondered if she might have had a couple more years if I hadn't kept her in a constant cloud of second hand smoke. Mike can live up to 70 years, so I wanted to give him a better chance of living up to his fullest lifespan than poor Jamie had. It still makes me cry a little to think of finding her. :(

Anyway, I fsearched my files, and I found a pic of Mike for the Faces thread, and I'll also link to the videos I have of him.

And to the requests for info on the VK-1, the full details will have to wait for now. But it will be a regular sized e-cig batt (but we're thinking also of a large sized version which will be the VK-2), available (hopefully) in all the same lengths, and will of course be fully compatible with existing chargers, PCCs, carts, etc. But I can't post any of the concept drawings or give too much detail until Steve approves it. Just rest assured, I am finally making my dream e-cig, benefiting from all my e-cig knowledge and experience, and of course your ideas and feedback as well. I know you'll all love it!

MAcsac, it's not that the current model "makes me unhappy."

As I said in my video about the Leaford Lanyard, referring to the first lanyard my friend Nui made for me (which like the current VK was perfectly good), "Nothing is ever so perfect it can't be improved upon."

That was what I did for the lanyard, I took a simple leather sleeve and added every refinement I wanted for myself, making it truly optimized for e-cigs, accommodating manual buttons, allowing the LED to be seen, and improving airflow.

I'm doing the same thing for the VK-1, optimizing it, adding as many features as possible that I've thought over the years, "gee, I wish someone made an e-cig with ____."

Sorry.... Unhappy was a poor choice of words

you said you were maknv the cig of your dreams
I was just curious what the 808 needs to do that

I understand tho if it's stuff that has to be left in the dark untill it's finished

Think in terms of added functionality. ;) And look at the VK mod contest thread; a lot of you guys were thinking along the same lines as I was, so some of those ideas are in it. :D :thumb:

Wow, I'm really looking forward to several of these- especially Dark Chocolate and Butterscotch.

... but I keep getting totally confused by you being in China :D When you say they should ship by a certain time I can't tell if you mean they'll be on their way to the US or if you mean they'll be available on the site

(I've got a bunch of stuff sitting in my cart but if those two will be on the site by the end of the week I'll wait and add those)

Do you know when butterscotch and dark chocolate will be available on the site?

Btw- you rock. The flavors you're coming up with over there are rad :)

Yesterday we shipped Dark Chocolate and Red Hot Candy!
---

Today Butterscotch should ship.
---
And that will complete our Candy Shoppe Sampler Pack, which hopefully will ship by the end of the week!

When I say it is shipping today, I mean it is shipping from China on its way to the US. From then, it has only been taking two to three days to reach Chicago, for carts batteries and accessories, and perhaps 5 days or so for liquids.

mmm dark chocolate and redhots!

Is the flavor stronger than the current chocolate carts?

Yes, I think so. ;)
