OMG! VG carts will so rock. Love the V4L flavors but the PG tends to dry me out far worse than VG.

Figures that the new flavors arrive the day after I order ;) oh well, hopefully they will still be there when I place the next one.

For clove smoker Belletrist, I was a Djarum special smoker for 17 years. I tried the clove ejuice and it did not satisfy the craving nearly as well as the cinnamon roll cartomizer. The clove juice just doesn't have the numbing burn you expect from a clove cig.

I am experimenting with clove cinnamon mixes and with Eugenol as well but so far I have not found the magic mix. Specials and Browns are very fruity so I have ordered a bunch of fruit flavorings to give it another try. For now though the cinnamon rolls are the most satisfying for the craving. Adding VG also helps as it produces much more vapor that hangs in the air kind of like Djarum smoke. Haven't found anything to simulate the crackle yet though... wish I had a fireplace.

Good luck and if you find a good mix please let me know.

Crackle is easy, just overfill, you'll then get the numbed feeling too, with the first mouth full of fluid.

J/K but I know what you're talking about, I used to smoke, I think that brand, back in Australia. That's going back about 10 years. I forget how they were spelled, but I think I remember calling them "Gudang Garams" (thats how it sounded, anyhows) - I never 'smoked' smoked them though, my friends would share a pack - we'd each have a couple most nights, but our regular smoke at the time was roll-your-own Port Royal. The gudang garams were the 36mg ones with the cherry-honey flavour on the outside of the filter, which was really just an excuse for indiscriminate kissing (Not that we needed excuses, I was in the goth crowd back then)

But that crackle and clove, brings back wicked memories.

Have you tried them yet? Are they making tons more vapor than the regular carts?

I don't know about TONS, but they do kick things up a notch.

At least when I can get a decent inhalation. I am finding out I am a little sensitive to VG, the same way some people are sensitive to PG. While most people find VG to be smoother than PG, I find it to be much harsher. I spent most of last weekend puffing on, and refilling, a 100% VG cart. I was concerned about the thickness, so wanted to make sure it wouldn't clog the atomizer or anything. BY Monday, my throat felt raw and hoarse. :(

But, hey, sometimes, ya gotta take one for the team, amiright?

Hey Leaford, has any work been done to the blank cartomizers by you? Any upgrades or changes? I haven't tried them yet, but I'd rather wait til I know you've had your input on them and made them better if possible.

And what is this "multi switch" idea for the batteries???

Nothing specific to the blanks, no. I've been tightening the manufacturing process, asking the foreman to put the best workers on our cart manufacturing line, and reassign other workers to less critical tasks like filling bottles, or boxing finished carts. And spot checking to prevent dumb mistakes like putting the labels too low and covering up the air slots. But, no, nothing's been done specifically to the blanks.

And the multi-switch is a way of switching your battery on the fly from an auto to a manual or vice versa.

Well, no it doesn't. And neither will the Red Hot Candies, or the Chili flavor I experimented with, or the Ginger liquid I got from another supplier. Vapor just can't transmit some of those elements.

I'm amazed that the pink lemonade can get my mouth so close to a pucker. :D So who knows what's possible.

On a separate note, any interesting food lately?

Not really. I picked up some Duck, and some pan fired noodles that were almost like a Phad Thai at the supermarket. I found Pappa Johns in a mall while shopping on Sunday. That was actually one of the best pizzas I've had in asia. And last night I found out McDonalds delivers here. 24 hours, too, in some areas.

What timing to see this mentioned. I got a box of parliament carts that had that exact problem. Took a sharp knife and trimmed off the excess to uncover the air holes. The worst part was, since the labels were too low, it left a sticky spot up at the top. Guess the stickem is on the carts, not the labels. Stickem-lips, oh yum

Yeah, the parliaments were made and shipped while I was sick, and I only checked a few samples that were delivered to my apartment, so I have to take the blame for those. I didn't notice that problem until Steve received them and told me about it. Once I was better, I had that worker moved to packing. And now I'm keeping an eye on that on all the carts.

Just when you thought it couldn't get any better....can't wait for the new batts...just what I've been looking for. Manuals give better hit but most of the time I need my hands for other things...like typing...now I'll have my cake and be able to eat it too :D without swapping out batts...and the new flavors sound awesome.....think I'm gonna need a bigger organizer..lol

Leaf, thanx so much for the constant updates. I don't know how you guys keep up with everything but am sure glad you do :)

Please. Please make this a reality.
Sounds to me like it was tried, and wasn't good enough to sell. The alternate could be that they sell it and it doesn't satisfy, better not to have it at all.

But I thin the issue with these is getting the essence - the bite - into the vapour - this is probably not so much a taste factor as a chemical reaction factor.

From my usual dislike of chilli, I'll volunteer that if you add a drop of battery acid, you'll get the kick you're after there :p

(NOTE: I'm kidding, don't do this. ever.)

Actually, it's still undecided. I asked for them to make up a sample as a whim. Just to see how it would turn out. And like DaShiVa said, it just doesn't have enough burn. The taste is there, but the taste isn't very satisfying without the burn, IMO, and even with the chili taste, the PG base is still sweet.

But I'm going to take the sample with me to Thailand, and share it with some Thai friends, and see what they think. Thais know their chili. ;)

Today they're filling carts for two new candy flavors:

Red Hot Candy: Just like the candy! Not too overwhelming a flavor, we didn't want to burn any mouths, but definitely a hot cinnamon oil flavor, not stick cinnamon, and it does leave a little bit of that distinctive burn, especially if you blow it out your nose!. Very strong throat kick with it, too.

Butterscotch: I've been saying this a LOT lately, but this is my one of my new favorite flavors! Absolutely perfect, and a smooth vape, especially in the lower nic strengths!

The Candy Shoppe Samplers should be filled tomorrow, as well.

Meanwhile, back in Chicago, Mark should be unpacking several of our new flavors today (Chicago time), including carts and liquids for Lager and Rootbeer, carts for MountDO!, and liquids for Cinnamon Roll, plus the Coffee Shop and Cocktail Hour sampler packs!

And on the new battery front, I've been seeing concept design CAD images for the new batts, incorporating some ideas I've been wanting to see since I started vaping over a year and a half ago, and of course some of your ideas as well.

I can't say too much about them just yet, and it will still be awhile before they have prototype samples completed, but today they showed me a prototype of one new component, the multi-switch selector, and MAN was that thrilling for me!

It's amazing what companies can do. The multi-switch is going to be great. So how about the lighted ring for the LED...have you looked into it? I know you must be very busy watching over everything...kind of like multitasking and I do appreciate everything you are doing. Thanks leaford.:)
