I got a bunch of different screws for a new center pin but none of them work the deck is still lose. Blows my mind, no pun intended!

SO i took the dremel to the 510 threads. The taifun isn't that dirty I think my lens is. its an old phone. I tested the rta with a volt meter and no continuity between the center pin and 510 or body. I guess that means its safe for a hybrid right?

¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Even though you tested for non-continuity, won't hurt to ream it out one more time with a small, fine file for good measure. Then clean it really well.

I'd also put an insulator of sorts around that head, between the head and the inside of the 510. But you do you.

I was thinking the same thing. Not sure what I could use for insulator other than an o-ring

Nothing wrong with using an oring as an insulator, or 2 beside each other if needed. You could also use a small piece of tubing. Really anything that will fit snug and insulate the pos from the negative.
