EVIC?

My first one lasted 5 months and joyetech wouldn't honour the warranty.

I did miss it (a year or so) and picked one up recently 50% off with an all-inclusive 6 month warranty.

It's not great compared to the new stuff. I wouldn't recommend it.

Vamo V5 is cheaper, more powerful and mine has done a year without any problems.

I have the new Vamo V6...(or its clone...I cannot tell since I got it from fasttech) and it is really doing awesome for me with my bottom coil Aspire tank. I have not put it down for the two weeks I have had it. I would recommend it....easy...just - or + buttons for watts, and voltage adjusts automatically. The best part......$30. :)

Thanks for all of the input from everyone, I'm really impressed with the community here. It sounds like I should spend some time watching youtube reviews but the advice should help focus my search, which is good because I was starting to hit information overload.

I think I've ruled out the evick and evick supreme because of quality concerns. I'll be taking a closer look at the Sigelei Zmax, is the Sigelei 30w worth considering for only a bit more? Box mods seem practical and maybe I'll consider them later but I think I'll stick with tube mods right now.

Thanks again, it would be great to get off these evil death sticks.

After all I said about not wanting something box shaped I ended up getting an MVP2 and a nautilus mini last night, I also picked up a bottle of Madrina by Suicide Bunny(yes I read about the tests). I'm liking this setup and juice so much that I was able to skip my morning analog that's been so difficult to give up, if I can skip my after dinner one it will be the first time in a couple decades that I've gone a full day without smoking(woo hoo!). I'm glad I picked up the Nautilus mini because compared to it the iclear 30 that came with the MVP is awful,, it's probably good to have a backup until i get more tanks though.

After reading about PWM I decided to avoid devices that use it at a low frequency which ruled out most of them. I looked into DNA and sx chip based mods but I was concerned about the lack of downstepping and all of the tube mods that used them seemed to have issues(mainly center pin). I heavily considered a Provari and almost clicked the add to cart button a couple times but I didn't like the display or menu and I couldn't justify the price, especially with the P3 right around the corner.

Thanks again for all the advice, it really helped me regain my focus after getting going in too many directions at once.
