Hey Vaper Peeps:

I've had this model for about a week and lets just say, I'm learning a lot. I've been shadowing my friends usage with the same model and the variability is tremendous. Going from 1/2 a pack to a pack, I seem to use a lot of Carts per day. I've burned through a few pre-filled because they weren't filled enough...Man that burning taste is bad. I've since learned to top off my carts many times per day...but that gets old quick. The multi-cart rotation seems to be the best method...Few pulls, then rotate to a fresh cart. Right now, I'm using the auto batts, but might switch over soon enough.

Would someone suggest a better model or a mod? It needs to be cost effective and hopefully last a bit longer per filling than the kr808d-1.

Any help greatly appreciated.

Have you tried a Pass-thru? It won't help with the multi cartridge rotation (which is what I do), but you'll see a huge improvement in performance. The PT is good at your computer or a 110v/usb adapter from wal-mart for wall plugs and a 12v/usb (got mine from V4L) when in your car. I keep thinking about trying a Chuck, but I like the VaporKing and don't want to add another shelf to my dining room cabinet where I keep all my stuff (I have lots of "stuff").

Have you tried a Pass-thru?.

yes and I'm vaping with it as we speak.

What strength cartos are you using? If you're going through a lot of cartos, you might be better off upping the strength

18 mg. Am spirits or whatever I could order from NC before Schipp came in. Not sure how I feel about increasing my dependency. I'm looking to wean myself off.

I'm not suggesting upping your overall intake, but that if you're using a lot of cartos it might be that you're not getting enough with the level you're using, causing you to use it more. But on the surface it sounds like 18 is probably a good level. There are some good threads in the Nicotine section.

My cartos last quite a while - I'm just finishing up the one I started over 7 hours ago. There are a couple of stickied threads in the Vapor4Life section on refilling the cartos to their potential. As you noted, sometimes the factory fill isn't quite up to snuff.

Best of luck!

I don't know that I'd call it increasing your dependency...really it's meeting your dependency that you established on analogs..you can always go up in strength for a while til you're vaping less and then decrease your mg again..
Me, auto batteries just don't work for me I use manuals and prefer them..
You, can get an adapter and use a 510 atty on your KR808D-1 batteries but you'll end up topping off more with carts..thought with a 510 atty, some filler modifications and or dripping you might find that 18mg more fulfilling..but going straight 510 kit? the batteries are worse..
I personally use a 510 with blue foam in place of the cartridge filler and rotate between 2 devices and topping off both twice a day carries me through the entire day..I intend on using a KR808D-1 battery with an adapter to fit my 510 attys and I think that'll get me as close to perfect without going the route of a mod as I'm gonna get...
Of course your milage may vary..
