upgrade question

On both of my GLV2 headcaps I am having problems with alot of different cartos. The threads wont matchup-its like the carto is too small in diameter and wont catch the glv threads. Will the upgrade correct this problem? Its getting frustrating and expensive never knowing which carto will work. Seems like a 510 should be standard but its not with my headcap for some reason. Thanks for any info.

I've been wondering the same thing. I've been having headcap issues since I first got my GLV2 but have learned to live with them, as I love this thing so much...it's practically surgically attached to my hand! There's no way I can live without it for even 1 day, that's why I haven't sent it back to Jay to fix. I'm hoping I can just order a new upgraded headcap. I guess mine would take a little longer, as my original was powder coated to match the body and I'd like it to look the same. I'm assuming the threads would match up?

I couldn't be without mine either, so I ordered a second headcap to use when the other was in the shop. But, now both have the wonky thread issue. Hopefully the upgrade will fix our problems. I cannot live without my GLV frustrations and all-i still love it.
