Upgrade time

S0 I currently own the Joye 510. Lately I have been tempted to upgrade to a new device. I have had my eye on the Prodigy v3. I like the look and it seems pretty versatile. The GG looks great but the price tag is a bit steep. Also, the screwdriver looks nice too.

Any thoughts on a device that has multiple voltage options, looks good, and is reliable.

Who's good for standing behind product? The best answer I could think of is those who have warranties on their products. Currently, at e-cigarettemods.com, there is a 3-year warranty on the SuperT line, and limited lifetime warranties on the Prodigy V3 and Protege. The prices are 120/118/80, respectively. But you'll probably never need the warranties anyhow, as the e-cig is still such new technology, that the best is yet to come. Myself, I'm going for the SuperT, as it's American made, and can be duplicated by a good machinist in case we have to resort to the black market in the future from an FDA ban. (those scalliwags!)

I'll suggest either the Silver bullet or BB from AltSmoke.com. They are technically 3.7 volt devices but you can run them at 6v. I love my silver bullet at 6v with 510 cartomisers. It kicks a ton of vapor at 3.7v with a low resistance atty as well and the battery will last all day.

Edit: theres also a fairly new mod out called the buzz. It's a variable voltage device available at notcigs.com

This might be what was attempted to be placed earlier. It's a pretty comprehensive site with most of the current mods out there.

Everyone's going to give you their personal opinion on what's worked for em, and in that respect. I love meh Chuck. Button tends to be an issue, but if you want something you can injure someone with and still vape on afterwards, this is your mod.

3.7/6/7.4v as far as voltage goes, no resistors or regulators for controlled voltages. Just standard battery outputs. Solid construction, and will last, the button is the only truly fragile piece on it and Jeff does replace them without much fuss. Plus custom graphics are a huge plus for me. Anyways, enough about that. The above site will help you quite a bit.

Yes, as Quakereject mentioned, there is the Chuck. Chuck owners luv, luv, luv, their Chucks. That's another one I have considered -- and the creator/seller is in the USA. I've also heard good reviews on the Bartleby if you like the box mods. Anyway, good luck in your search.

My advice is to try a passthrough to see if you like high voltage devices. That would give you a better idea as to what to look for. Personally I have a chuck and love it (thagbuilt.com) 80 bucks year warranty and customized..3.7v or 6v with battery swap.

But as to the passthrough something like this would work great to try out hv.

Also there is a debate on the whole usb thing..but besides that to not have to be plug into a comp here ya go.

I have a copper and you are right, it is a good PV, but if you want something that is totally unreal get a buzz. Before my buzz i vaped at 3.7v and the buzz came preset at 4.5v which I didn't like so I dialed it down to 4.15v and WOW did my flavors pop and it is a constant 4.15v so every drag is EXACTLY the same

There are uTube demos on them. I think one of our ECF members, Crashtestjeep did a review on the Provape. I was lookin at those too. They sure are sexy and sophisticated looking, aren't they? Just go to uTube and type in Provape e-cig. I personally am going w/the one of the units from SuperTManufacturing, maybe the Precise -- kinda looks like a piece of expensive jewelry instead of a PV. Wonder if they're going to put a lot of PVs on sale for the 4th of July holiday?
