Upgrading a Seven-22...

Hey gang, is it possible to upgrade the chip in the Seven-22? I have not found to much info on this and just want to see if it was possible? 22w is just not cutting it any more but the rig is still very nice. Even though it big I love it for it's simplicity and clean lines.

Doubt it. It uses an SX220 chip which has not had any software upgrades. Was hoping it was a SX350 but it's not. All this assumes there is a way to get into the Seven 22 which I have not found as I'm afraid of damaging it.

Was hoping for the best but yeah if I can't then just keep it unmodded. Still a very good 22w device. Thanks steve.
