Upgrading from my igo-w...

Just browsing through and the Magma looks like a pretty compelling upgrade from my Igo-L. But how is the vapor production? I've read that it's all about flavor (which is great, of course), but will it still produce respectable clouds?

Also,

Mephisto = can use really lower gauge coils for intense builds

Pardon my ignorance as I'm really new to rda's still, but can't you use low gauge wire on pretty much any RDA? Or is it simply too thick for some?

Look up the magma on you tube. Vapor looks fine. As with any rba, flavor and vapor depends on several factors. Coil build, proper wicking, and power used to burn it. Everything works together. Change one and the flavor/vapor will change. As far as wire gauge....As long as u aren't exceeding the amp limit of your device you can build coils with whatever size you want.

@fightnirish nice man we have the same setup then haha. it's really crazy how heavy the cartel is. I wasn't expecting the cartel mod to come in today but I was expecting some batteries (2 18650s) and a charger to come in today. When I grabbed the package I was like "jeez what did i order that's this heavy? oh yeah the batteries." then I opened the package and see it's the cartel I seriously was like "damn." I ordered both the magma and cartel off of vape outlet on ebay (cheapest I could find + free shipping) but I ordered them a day apart, and the cartel mod was supposed to come in monday but it came today.

@Mofastermo awesome thanks. yeah that's what I was thinking, and it makes complete sense. Just every time I watched a review video it seemed like it was always spinning free and easy.

@DeliciousClouds I think what he meant by that is the holes on the posts are a lot bigger to hold the bigger sizes of lower gauge wire. Looking at pictures of it on google and the post holes do look pretty big.

Some of older RDA, have hard time with dual coils using 24 gauge and under. As more cloud chasers going for extreme builders , RDA modders like El Diablo market to these Thor clouds chasers

If I recall correctly, I think the original magma did not lock the airflow ring so it would rotate with the cap on. I can see how that might be an annoyance if you have to keep checking which hole it's on when vaping. I think the v2 is the version most of us here have and the airflow ring now locks when the cap is tightened.

I'd recommend the zenith v2 or the Origen v2
