I use the 1.7 ohm Resurrectors and drill them myself.

I use a drill press and drill a 5/64" hole in them. You can use 2 holes or 2 slits in a single coil carto, but because of the tube design in a DC carto, you should only use one slit or hole. Two holes can cause the tube to collapse when you draw on it. I don't like the way the slits look, so I go with a precision hole. I'm OCD, lol

Single Coil XL Tank Cartomizer for the SmokTank XL

Recently switched to these single coils from the dual coils. Had been having a lot of burnt taste. Also reading discussion on here about dual coils draining batteries faster than singles, with little quality in return. Also had read that dual coils need 4.8v or more to burn both coils (don't know if this is legit). Anyway, decided to give the single coils a try.

I got several with one and several with two hole pre-drilled, in 2.0 ohm. Thinner juices got the one hole cartos, thicker got the two holed.

I switched over several of my tanks used on my Silver Bullet and BB. Vapor production is the same, if not more. Flavor is the same, if not more. Best of all, no burnt taste in several cartos over two weeks time. I'll continue to get these over the dual coils. I've seen absolutely no benefit of using dual coils, at least not on my 3.7v devices.

Only tank having issues is the one with Boba's Bounty (100% vg) with the 2 hole carto. I even punched two more holes higher on the carto and diluted with water. Still a stiff draw requiring dry pulls before vaping. This is thick stuff!

Somewhere out there
I like Kangers as well. Clouds of Vapor, healthcabin, and litecigusa have them. I'm sure there are more places that sell them. They're a bit more expensive than the boges, but they're sooo quiet :)

I just tried one of the Kangers and so far so good. It is quiet compared to Boge! LOL I am hoping it lasts, I got LR, but need some SR Kangers to try. bnrk
