Hi everyone

This is my 2nd thread at ecf.

Quick heads up:
I switched to ecigs about 6months back and have been using "blu ecigs" since then.
I'm totally bored of blu at this point and am worried that I might start smoking.

Precisely why I'd posted my first thread here (about 15 days back) about beginner options.

A lot many members responded and tried helping out, but I guess I'm a super newbie that I just didn't quite understand the jargon.
Here are my questions, in the most basic form of communication:

=============================================
I used to smoke about 7 cigarettes a day & hence bought the blu (high nicotine variant).

I now want to buy an ecig that produces dense vapor, feels like tobacco and is warm enough (throat hit).

the last time I asked this question, I was suggested Aspire nautilus mini, kanger, istick, etc.
Now, if I wanna go ahead with Aspire nautilus mini, what are the various "parts" that I need to buy from the aspire online website?

For example:
I buy the A nautilus mini itself - clearomizer ?
what about the battery?
what about the coil?
what about the ejuice?

Can someone who suggests please mention everything that one needs to buy such that when it arrives, I can just connect them and vape?
I'm really sorry, but I've gotten very confused/overwhelmed with the options and jargon.
When one suggests just an atomizer, do they assume that I'd buy the battery from them as well? Or, does one buy parts from various vendors and connect them?
Also can ejuices be used on various different vendors?

Please suggest a kit comprising everything that one needs to buy ?

Thanks a ton!

if you want to get all in 1 package ready to go best would be to order it from a vape shop that carries everithing, or go to a local one.

you will need
1. a mod: this is the device with the button to push ;p loads of options personal i would advice kangetech kbox mini 1battey, joytech cuboid 2 batteries, rx200 3 batteries
if you can hold them in your hand see wat you like
2 and 3 battery models give you a wider range of power to play with

2. batteries depending on the mod (some have build in) if you get a sepeate battery mod you might want an extra set and a seperate charger

3. a tank, clearomizer systems are generally the easyest for example the Nautilus/atlantis v2, cubis tfv4(if you want high power options) so many coices

1 and 3 can be packed together is a starter set, like the kangertech topbox types

and juices ;p

Thanks guys.

I currently am at MVS and have the following in my cart:

1. Kanger Topbox Mini Starter kit - black (Quantity 1)
2. LG HE2 18650 LiMn 2500mAh Battery - 20 Amp (Quantity 2)
3. Efest XSmart Single USB Charger (Quantity 1)
4. eLiquid - Gold Premium - 30mL - High(18mg) (Quantity 1)

Am I good to go here?
Is there something I should or shouldn't buy?
I'm finally gonna buy one today by hook or by crook.

You will need:

Mod: Most iSticks have a built in battery. The 100 watt & a 60 watt do not & you will need to purchase the battery separately.

Batteries: Check the specifications to determine battery type. If you need to buy them separately, please choose approved, authentic batteries. Reliable venders include RTD Vapor, Illumination Supply, Orbtronics, IMR Batteries, & Liion Wholesale. (Thank Susan~S)

Atomizer: Aspire Nautilus mini should come with a coil, but they only last about a week so you’ll want extras.

Juice: Since you’ve been a light smoker, you will probably want a juice with < 12 mg/ml. There are a lot of options. You may want to visit General E-Liquid Discussion

The nicotine level looks really high for that gear. I would drop to 6 mg or 3 mg. The Topbox tanks will give a huge volume of vapor and the nicotine will be SUPER harsh.

Perfect, I'll go down on the nicotine level.

1. Is the battery okay?
2. Also, do I need to purchase a certain "coil" besides this?
3. Is 30mL good enough?

Looks good to start with, if you are going with 18mg juice you will probably want to stick to the 1.5ohm coil that comes with the kit. LG HE2's are good batteries, not sure about the charger though. I'd tend to lean towards Nitecore myself, but thats mostly due to not liking Efest batteries.

Keep in mind you will want to be thinking about where to get extra coils (and juice) before you need them.

I'd rather go down on the nicotine a bit, might have gotten over ambitious here.
Will also look for other batteries instead of eFest (found a bad review on it).

About coils, can I just type in "Coils" in the search bar and get any one? or is there a specific variant that fits this starter kit? (I apologize for the lack of knowledge here)

The juice is a big variable. You taste buds are yours and not the same as anyone else. Also, the cigarettes are doing damage to your tastebuds, so what tastes good today may not in a month or two.

I went with Sampler packs or just inexpensive juice. Some vendors go with wazoo-designed juice and others go for selling quantity inexpensively. I figured out the price per milliliter (ML) that included shipping. I didn't go above 60 cents.

Vape Wild is about 30 cents and is a volume dealer with a lot of flavors. Mt. Baker Vapor is another with a lot of flavors at a decent price. There are hundreds of brands out there. What I did was vape a flavor a bit and wrote down my thoughts on it and rated it on a scale. Eventually, I found about 20 that I would go back to and buy again. The notes really helped.

My success rate for flavors was only about 10-15%. Samplers or inexpensive juices got me going faster and enjoying my vaping.

    Good luck!

1 lg is good sony is good thought samsung is good 2 but dont have those (curently using sony vtc5's
2 see prev post you get a ouple and a rebuildable, those can carry you a couple of weeks. long enough to see witch one you like and get those
3 that is pesonal depending on how much you vape and wat coils wattages you use
i use on average 10 -15ml a day my wife gets by on less than 5 ml a day and she used to smoke more (figures)

once you are happy with your gear have a look at DIY juice making :)

At MVS on the page for the Topbox, scroll down and look on the left side of the page for links to coils.

SSOCC coils (newer tech) 1.2 ohms (or 1.5 ohm)is a great starting place for ohms with the Topbox. Get 4 or 5.
    OR
On the Vertical coils it comes in .5 ohm. I would get 4 0r 5.
    OR
Ni200 coils if you want to try temperature control.

Personally I would start with the 1.2 or 1.5 as you are coming from a cig a like and the lower ohm coils may be too much.

You already received very good information...therefore I'll mention best of Luck to you, I hope the vapor keeps you off the smokes..!

Like others said, your taste buds will change rapidly, what may taste good today might not be so good in a day or two. I suggest getting several flavors in smaller quantities..you can always order more of what you like.

When I quit, I wanted something similar to tobacco taste too, after a week I really didn't care for tobacco whatsoever (except RY4). Try a couple fruit juices with your order, they may surprise you as being very pleasant..!

Brick & Mortar (B&Ms) have much more overhead costs than online vendors. If going to a B&M, I would look at juices that the shop sells that they don't make. Some shops don't make juice at all. But, you can taste test juices to get an idea and then find them online.

Not sure what your available funds are, but juice costs are significant. Many go into DIY after awhile. Learn what you like though first.
