Lucky you.
I have RA and Peripheral Neuropathy so that would take a little bit longer for me, lol
I have RA as well, I use one of those coil master things to wind coils. It doesn't take very long at all. I don't know how advanced your RA is though, I know better than to judge someone for a condition that affects everyone differently, at different rates. I just wanted you to know that tools do exist to make it easier. Honestly when I wind coils, I make a bunch of them (10 or 20) at a time, and keep the extras stored for a time when it may be more difficult for me to do so.

Meet Me in St Louie Louie
I got an email about a vendor working with 2 companies to deliver vape mail. Hopefully, that works out.

I keep wondering who these alternative delivery companies are .. Outside of USPS, UPS and FedEx .. who is out there that can deliver relatively small packages on a Nationwide basis in an economical way .. ??

I haven't had to buy any mods or coils for a while, although I splurged and picked up several of the Drag X systems and am currently using mostly them (and more not used..). Also got their adapters for RTAs and adapters that let me use them on normal mods.
I suck at redoing those coils for some reason (Drag X PnP 03 I think), even with simple, DIY coil kits. But it is what it is.

About 2 months back, I pulled most of my RTA's off and stashed them.

I have pieces and parts to make all the PWM mods I need, even to experiment with.

Wick, wire, premade coils, even factory coils for my wife's favorite which can take diy coils, all sitting and waiting. Not to mention my emergency stock of kangertech RTA's from 5 years ago.
DNA chips and boxes to use them in, Hell, I even have a brand new DNA 30 I never put together.. I have Vamo's and Vamo chips still!!!!!!

I have flavors that I will have to get in the next year. Shouldn't be a problem.
I have access to all the VG and PG needed, on demand.
I have plenty of Nic stashed in the freezer.

I'm set, I have no worries, until the wife says she needs more of her favorite flavor, which is a commercial eliquid.. :(

Le Sigh....

Maybe buy a good supply of her favorite in zero nic so it can keep in the fridge for a few years until you can mix up a tasty substitute? It should hold up well until nic is introduced at a future date.

JMO from the people I have Talked to...

Some Retailers are looking to Small Regional Carriers that could deliver in Limited Metropolitan Areas. It wouldn't be Coast to Coast. Or to someone who lives in a Rural Area or on the Outer Fringe.

Shipping Costs would High. And there would have to be Substantial Minimum Orders. So Many (Retailers/Consumers) Don't see this as a very viable shipping Option.

People keep mentioning a company called "Vapefreight" but they aren only looking into B2B deliveries as far as I know.

Vaping360 had an article where they mentioned another company (who wants to remain nameless right now and was referred to as "X") was supposedly starting a common carrier service for B2C vape deliveries, but it would only start out in a few select cities.

No one has the capital it would take to start a new, nationwide common carrier overnight and investors would be scarce or non-existent given the riskiness of a common carrier specializing in vape products. If the big 3 common carriers refuse to deal with the headaches and legal woes of delivering vape to a residence, then it's too much of a risky investment for a business investor.

So company X may very well have a startup in a few larger cities, but to think they could go nationwide, I think, is a pipe dream.

The vapor business, from what I have seen over the last decade, is fraught with people who have very little business or legal sense and seem to make business and legal decisions based on emotion. That never works out in the long run.

Thanks for the link!:) I'm picking one up!
At this point, the PN is worse than the RA but the two of them together is the pits.
If all else fails and this stuff starts disappearing, I have some Eyeglass screwdrivers that I could possibly use to wind coils with.
Might that work?
It just occurred to me, I need to get a backup Ohm Meter with a 510 connection - I have one but its one of those el cheapo ones that I got back in the day.
I swear man, pox on Congress for doing this....

After shipping stops I was thinking about how to help others in the future, or at least the near pre PMTA future. A chain of regional tobacco shops carries equipment and some decent brands of liquid. At least in the near term I have someplace to point others toward should the need arise.

I expect tobacco shops to be a source for some time, even if many vape B&M shops close. They have the licenses and a primary revenue source to carry the business.

Our first vape kit was bought at a tobacco shop over 10 years ago. Ironic and sad if people have to dance with the devil to get their vapes.

Stevens Wholesale and MVS claim the USPS mail ban is going into effect the last week of March. SW says March 31 and MVS says March 26 or earlier.

Does anyone know where they are getting this information?
The variety of dates makes me think they're pulling them right out of...thin air.

As far as I know, coil master ships from China so their claim that delivery is 3-7 business days seems a bit odd (to be nice) and I hear they take forever to ship anything. Plus their price is really high even with "free shipping".

You may as well just order it from Fasttech IMHO, and save money. It won't ship quickly because it says "ships in 3 days" (so it's anyone's guess when it will actually ship).
$7.01 Coil Master Styled V4 6-in-1 E-Cigarette Wire Coil Winder - 1.5 + 2 + 2.5 + 3 + 3.5 + 4mm poles at FastTech - Free Shipping

I personally would not worry about customs with a coil master kit.

This is partially what I received in the email.

We are working with two alternative carrier resources. One is a nationwide carrier network that is working hard to have a consumer delivery network in most major cities by the end of March, and covering 70-80% of the country by mid-April or May.

The second is a national company with access to over 10,000 vape shops around the country to provide pickup locations for order online-pick up in store options. We will gradually expand shipping availability as we can.

When I started winding my own coils I used a screwdriver. It took me a while because the wire would slip and it was hard for my hands to cooperate. I found the coilmaster tool (mine is an older one, version 3) on Amazon before they purged vape stuff. I'm sorry, I didn't realize I linked you to a China site, I mainly wanted to get you a pic of it so you knew what to look for. What makes it so easy for me using it is you feed the wire into a small hole on the tool, and the tool holds the wire in place as you wind it. Hope you can find something that works for you!

Problem is, it's hard to find Coil Master or any other similar coilers in the USA anyway. I have been looking for a while now for a US source and only come across the UD coiler which I don't recommend due to it's offset design (may not work well for someone with RA). The vast majority of US retailers stopped restocking a lot of rebuilding tools once pod systems started flooding the market :(

Unless it's a delivery from a local shop, like VapeDash, it won't be inexpensive.

I thought I came up with a catchy thing there, but the vapedash.com domain is parked, for sale for $2995. Oh well.:D
The problem is that all of the Delivery Companies that have the reach to get to most if not all people are the ones who are discontinuing Deliveries to Customers.
Congress and the ANTZ are probably going to find later down the line that there will be unintended consequences to this, like Volstead Act type of unintended consequences (although not as pervasive).
