USB Battery

Hi All,

I would like to know if any manufactures are making (or are GOING to make) a USB battery for the generic/Njoy pen style e-cigs? I'm not talking about a USB battery charger, but actually supplying the power to the e-cig.

I've been reading through the forum (A real habit now) and have been watching the posts concerning the Janty Kissbox e-cig. They appear to have just such a USB device, though from the small description it might be that it is just a rechargable battery with a USB connection.

I've dropped about $400 so far (in about 2.5 weeks) and I am very reluctant at this point to drop another $160 until I gain some ground on the "savings" front. However, it would be awesome if there were a reliable power source that if nothing else could help me determine if the stand alone batteries are not living up to thier ... potential. (Sorry for the Pun )

One thing I'm finding with the e-cig is that if it isn't producing good vapor, it could be several things; too little juice, too much juice, weak battery, bad atomizer, dirty atomizer, bad juice, etc. It would be real nice to be able to rule out at least one of those without having to keep an enourmous supply of backup batteries, atomizers, juices, cartridges, and bullets at the ready. (OK, the last item is just in case I DON'T have sufficient nicotine and someone upsets me. )

I can only go on personal experience from the UK's mini ciggy (DCE 901?). I've found the batteries don't last anywhere near as long as I thought and they seem to suffer a drop in power output after about 1 hour (not constant use so about 2 - 3 cigs worth). I've also had one atomizer go on me after I tried to clean it by blowing through it. Still using the replacement - approx 2 weeks and still going strong.

I've now got 4 batts one charger and manage to have at least 2 batts fully charged at any one time.

almost forgot u will need to buy a switch too either the manual or auto then just use the generic atomizer an u got a usb powered ecig. or u could try ecig.com they sell them for 15 bucs but i would steer well clear of dealing with ecig.com

Without a battery which serves as protection and regulator for the voltage between your ecig and your computer, you'd take a big risk frying your ecig or your USB port... so no it it is not JUST a rechargeable battery with USB connection, it is really more than that

So the Janty USB battery/supply is compatible with Njoy and Generic pen e-cigs?

Also, it's a power SUPPLY and not just a rechargeable battery?

Thanks for the info. What I was referring to with the USB Battery comment was that it is not just a Battery-Charger attached to a Battery that you screw onto the atomizer, but an actual voltage source for the atomizer. But I didn't think it was compatible with the Generic/Njoy.

Sure, you can combine JANTY USB cable-JANTY switch-sedansa/ruyan/njoy/... atomizer for example. You'd have half a classic kissbox
