USB charger I got from vapourettes and somthing I have never heard of, Mini Tankomizer Electronic Cigarette

It is the one at the bottom right. Anyways, I have been conversing back and forth with Sherif there, who is a really great guy to deal with, who sent this to me, and as I was browsing, I saw this.

Mini Tankomizer electronic cigarette

I have never heard of this before. And Sherif sent me an email saying "[FONT=PrimaSans BT,Verdana,sans-serif]The tankomizer is a very new type of tank system. Only Egos have the tank system so now we have the mini and super mini. It is a good e-cig for a new person into the vaping world. It is much easier to refill than the usual mini or super mini carts as it has no filler. Just liquid and off you go.

Too much filler and i cannot draw, too little and liquid ends up in my mouth...Yuk! with those ones, the problem isn't there. That's been out for a while now it is a proprietary atomizer and last I heard they didn't work that good when they first came out, let us know if it has improved please. It's been out for a few months now also

I didn't purchase the mini tankomizer, just the cute lil usb charger. Maybe someone on the forum has tried this out. I love it though, cuz I do adore my cute lil 510's. And this mini tankomizer does reminisce what my 510's are like. Still trying to get used to the idea of vaping off a honkin' big ego! hahahahahaha

I think your gonna be glad you held off on those, it was a good idea but from what I heard it wasn't perfected how they did it, I was hoping they would have improved on that idea, heck maybe they have I don't know maybe someone can give us all a report on this unit now compared to when it first came out a few months back

Well hun, I do love my big things. I love my big silverado truck, my huge great danes, my big boy friends..hmmmm..ok nuff said! I just enjoy the lil smoke like e cigs..cuz well they're cute and tiny and easy to pretend their pens in my mouth when the family is around or on the bus..or wherever I need to stealth vape!

I don't buy into it from the review at all, he only takes 3 vapes during the entire review and takes it apart once as well, the Ego he shows is also not an Ego T Atty it is an Ego Mega Atty, I would like to see someone really chain vape one of those and see what happens before I bought into it, also if it was an excellent unit it would be all over this forum buy now from my past experience on here, im not being negative just truthful, I would like to see a real review on this unit and someone really chain vaping with it to see how it does and how it taste ! Just my 2c worth

lol give it time hon - I loved the size & feel of the 510 too, for months. Now 4 months in with the Mega eGo, I'm finding it isn't doing it for me anymore either. Must - have - ProVari!

He did appear pretty surprised it worked. I hope it works out.

The looking like a real cigarette thing sure doesn't attract me. It did at first but after spending some time here, I now believe the more separation from real cigs and PV's the better. Yet considering the demographics of your hard core smokers I do understand the marketing value. But I digress..

Hey guys I got another email from Sherif explaining more on the mini tankomizer. He gives a bit more insight into the product. I am summarizing it here for you.

He got one back in december of 2010 but was disappointed like you are all saying because he found alot of air in it. Too many holes in the atomizer. If you look at his first video of the tankomizer


He sealed 2 of the holes and it worked fine and still working ever since. He told the manufacturers; they fixed it and sent him a new one 2 weeks ago.

The tankomizer is not for a diehard or a serial vaper. It is however a good start for someone new to vaping. It does the job as it is virtually hassle free. The atomizers you guys have been referring to in this thread is a proprietary one. It is a mini version of the Ego-T. He is also testing a 510 too and thinks the 510 needs some adjustment to work properly. He says that sometimes it works fine, others it doesn't. Just like the tank cartridge for the 510. Works on some 510s and others it doesn't. So in all manufacturers are racing to be the first to offer a new product but in the process they do not allow enough time for testing properly hence products that do not really function well. The classic currently is the Ego-T. All manufacturers are racing to roll them out yet still they have flaws in them no matter what people say. He has a couple going at the moment, they are not as good as the Mega atomizers which have been out for nearly a year now and they do work properly. 3 more manufacturers have brought the Ego-T type out in the past week alone yet i know they are not 100%. He thinks that by the summer they will be a safe bet to buy but certainly not at the moment unless a person wants to try something new with its associated risks. The risks being not working or functioning properly.

He says the only manfacturers that do spend the time in testing properly are Joye tech and Boge tech. Boge in particular do take quite a while and usually they are last to bring out something new to the market, but their products are very functional and reliable.

Wrt the delta between the eGo Mega and eGo T, yes the Mega is more reliable. I have only had my eGo T for 2 weeks (tomorrow) and can already come to that conclusion. I am still using the same atty from last Aug (type A) I doubt I will be using the same eGo T atty next month.

FWIW the preferred JoyE customers are in order: Totally Wicked, Janty, Heavens Gifts and Health Cabin, the rest merely follow suit.

But that being said, I have read a ton of threads that performance and outlasting is key. Yes, everyone ones a PV that will last the test of time. We all came here to save on money didn't we? So Buying new stuff all the time really isn't in my idea of stopping smoking to go to personal vaping, if it is going to keep costing me an arm and a leg.

I keep hearing that I should get this, and get that, mostly hearing about ego's and Leo's and even Provari's but I am having a real real hard time with the size of those things. I love to smoke, so I love to feel like I am smoking, and the 510 is doing it for me. But, I also want an e cig that I don't have to tinker with all day as well. Hence why I bought the smart carts from Al at cdnvapor. Easy as pie these things. The mini tank is lookin' good to me, if they have indeed ironed out all the defects in them. I guess I will converse some more with my friend Sherif in the UK and find out some more tid bits.

Hi Sherif!! Good to see you here! And thanks for posting about our questions here. I am sure this thread will continue to get more questions as time goes on. I am really interested in these little mini tanks I tell ya. Anything to save me hassle at this point in time is what I am looking for. My smartcarts have seemingly done quite the trick, but with all the hype lately on tank systems, and then to find out they come in mini tanks? I got a bit excited over here in Canada!!!

Yes battery life sux on the 510. I was actually looking into getting the 510 mega batts. But I have 3 standard auto batts and 3 standard manual batts plus my 510 passthrough that I can even use in the car cuz I got that lil cute plug in the cigarette lighter thingy that has the usb charger right on it. And then Sherif is sending me that cute lil usb charger as well for a single batt, that I can plug into my cig lighter as well and my computer and my wall charger that has usb capabilites! So for me, changing batts isn't much of a hassle. Sure it kinda sux that I have to keep charging, but I have so many chargers, and even have a pcc too, that I can plug into the wall, or the car, heck I got the wall plug in too. I did end up getting the kit and and kaboodle from Jack at Happy Vaper - Canada Electronic Cigarettes and E-Liquid, DIY Concentrated Flavorings!. It came with absolutely everything a girl could ever wish for. It was like xmas for me all over again when I got mine in the mail. Oh that was a joyous day! And it came in pink! OOOOOOOHHHHHHH that was eye candy!! Now if these mini tanks end up coming in pink, I am on it like white on rice!
