USB Passthrough 510

I see the normal PT for the 510 everywhere, but do any retailers carry a PT without the battery that is a direct PT? Or is this a modded thing?

Sepper,

I am not an expert on all the available "versions" but most 510 PT's include the inline battery.

The only 510 Passthrough that I am aware of that does not have an inline battery would be the one made by PureSmoker.com

The battery is a great thing to have if you want to use it in your car with an easy to find USB car charger. If you don't have the battery you need a plug that is rated much higher. I have a 510 with battery pass-through and a 401 no battery pass-through. I can use the 510 in my car with the charger I already have. The 401 doesn't get enough power to work so I save it for home.

I have a 1A/1000ma charger... so on my cheapo 510 passthroughs I modify them by removing the battery and circuitry and wiring it straight through...

Viola! 5v vaping...

I got the 801 batt to 510 atty adaptor from altsmoke.com
the 801 PT uses no battery so you get 5v vaping.
They have pretty much all convertors so you can mix and match yourself
