USB Passthrough Question

Ok, I know this has been discussed somewhere on here but using the search to find such a thing is impossible

Would it be possible to plug in a 501 usb passthrough into something like this:
Walmart.com: Music Power Encore Dual USB Port Charger and Extended Rechargeable Battery for iPod and MP3 Players: Batteries

This adapter would be for driving around and would be plugged in to a power inverter. The van is a v8 so it probably has a heavy duty battery. I'll be on the road for 3 weeks with my band and having to charge ecig batteries the whole time is a pain in the .... (plus I've left more than one charger behind on those hungover mornings). Leaving in a few days so ordering something is out of the question, it just won't get here in time.

As long as the 510 PT is the "regular" type with the inline battery, you should be good with the 500mA output. If you happen to have a 510 PT from Madvapes or elsewhere without the inline batt then you need something at 1amp (1000mA) or higher.
