Hi guys and gals,

VERY new to all this but love the idea of a manual USB Passthrough, however, i have a couple of questions

1. Can i use a normal plug to USB (something like an ipod plug)

2. ditto for a car adapter

3. Could i use a usb powerpack to run a passthrough? Idea would be to use it traveling to work and back, powerpack in pocket, running PT wire down sleeve to hand, voila! manual PT vaping joy!! Anything i need to look out for?

Yes to all three of these mate, though you might look even stranger vaping with a power pack attached to your belt

1. yes , but I think the ipod plug has an output of 500mA. you need one with an output of at least 1000mA.

2. I can't see why not

3. yes . the kensington comes highly recommended

art, I can't help you directly with that one as i don't use a passthrough..I'm a mod / big battery kinda guy ;)

But those that do use passthroughs often site kensington as the best.

I found a review for one of them here : http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/fo...79-kensington-portable-power-pack-review.html

check it out , and if you need to know more , may i suggest you post in the main forum . Your bound to get lots of answers :)

oh , and ask all the questions you like , that's what we're all here for after all ;)
