USB PassThru in your car

How many of you guys use the USB PassThru in your car?

I've been using a very nice little USB charger/adapter for charging my I-Phone.
I found it quite nice for those long trips that I don't want to use up my batteries.
Works perfectly.

I did when I used standard cartos--now I don't really use the PT much at all. But it is a handy li'l feller. If V4L had a 3.7V PT, I'd still use one.

I do. I use the thingy (technical term) that I received in my kit from V4L and it's wonderful! When I smoked I would literally watch the clock in my car on long road trips to see when I could smoke again (ahhh the misery!) Now I just keep the PT in my lap and vape whenever I want to. FREEDOM! and probably much better for the people on the road with me since I don't have to check the clock every five seconds anymore 8-o

So what is the V4L PT voltage? 5.0V? Or does it have regulator in it?

It's literally a pass-through. USB is 5vDC. So it's "passing through" the 5vDC to the atomizer coil.

I use my PT in the car --saves my batteries for when I am outside or in buildings.Use the PT on computer when I am home.

I LOVE my PT. I use it in the car with the car adapter I purchased from V4L for $9.95 (works great) and I use it at home at my computer. It is my favorite vaping device cause you don't have to worry about battery dying. Next week I am going to order a 2nd PT so I can keep one in the car and not have to drag one back and forth.

And I will add that the V4L USB Adapter-Car Charger is rated at a Full 2 Amps.

Rated for 2 amps doesn't mean that it actually outputs current at 2 amps.
Most USB car chargers only output around 500mA - some up to 1 amp (which is considered high).

I'd be really surprised if the V4L usb charger actually output 2 amps.

The Passthrough won't hardly function at anything less than 1 amp. Try it out on one of those rated at 200 mA for example...no worky!

That Belkin you posted is rated at 1 Amp...not bad. But V4L's is rated at a solid 2 Amps just to make SURE it's gonna work<grin>.

PassThroughs Rock...I got 3 hooked up in my car and 2 on my puter.

No need for batts and better vape.

All those Big Batt Mods are a WASTE IMO...Just use a PT or carry a couple extra batts when out...why have a monster batt mod? NOT NECESSARY.

I have had my charger/adapter for my PT for months but just used it in my Toyhauler camper on a recent trip for the first time and it worked great! Also used it in our Suburban and worked liked a dream saving my batts!

I have one in my car, one on my desktop and one on my laptop. Even have an extra just in case ...

Works great for long road trips, but I don't really use my PT in the car for around town. With all the turning and stuff, I'm afraid the cord will get wrapped around something and cause a problem.

But PT on the USB connection on the Xbox while gaming, that rocks!

yea be a little careful when using the PT while driving, especially around town and if your left handed like me. maybe also depends where your lighter port is located too. mine is right in front of the shifter so it interferes with shifting and i have to swing it across my steering wheel (Left Handed) which is also an issue.....
