Hi everyone :) i am new guy and just got my Titan 510 yesterday.

I am thinking about usb passtrough and i want to ask about voltage.
Usb voltage is 5V is it not too much for my 510? i know that battery's voltage is 3.7V.

So when i make my passtrough do i need to add rezistor to lower voltage?

Here is what i am going to do:
Find somekind fitting for atomizer (i dont want to break my 2 good batteris)
take two wires, + and -, connect button and connect them to usb wire than insert it in laptop ant smoke.
Do i need to add reizstors and where? Is it a good idea? am i missing something?

There are two types of passthroughs that I am aware of. One has an inline battery. This type will provide the voltage of the battery to the atomizer. In this configuration, the USB power simply provides a trickle charge to keep the battery charged. This is a 'lame' passthrough.

The better type of passthough provides the full power of a USB port to the atomizer, Typically this would be 5 volts. I prefer five volts or more to my atomizers for the enhanced throat hit and vapor production. This is not for everyone, though.

I get it, i am going tu use the second way. The main question for me is that 5volt isnt too much for my Titan 510 atomizer? Wont it burn down or overheat, or something?

Hello
I'm a license radio tech and work on computer . I have now built what you are asking about .
1 . don't run anything form your usb port on you computer .
2.build your own power supply use batteries . you can get battery holders at radio shack.
3 the parts I used was form and old atomizer . not a 510 .. but it had female threads that match my 510 atomizer I used 4-AA batteries .
if you want more info let me know.
