I ran across this and its working awesome! Alot of people complain about short battery life and the fact that vapor and taste drop off as the battery is used. I have a Vapor King Set from Electronic Cigarettes Inc and a Joy 510 set with a USB passthru from Cignot. I use liquid ONLY from tasty vapor and my daily vape is cinnacide and butter rum with an occasional tobacco thrown in when the mood strikes. When your typical stock batteries drop off you also experience the "burned" taste of your filler,( I use Fluvall )as well as gunking up and damaging your atomizer. So what are the options to have the ultimate vaping experience anywhere and everywhere without having to rely on the stock batteries that will quickly die and leave u frustrated? I purchased a Duracell Powersource Mini for $50.00. It fits perfectly in your pocket, set it on the table, on your car console, anywhere you are, it weighs only a few ounces and takes four hours to charge from a totally dead state via wall current or usb. It has TWO usb ports on it along with an on/off switch and power level indicator. One port is used to hook your pass thru into, the other can be used to recharge your phone, ipod, etc.

The USB Port to hook your pass thru into is not visible in this picture, but it is on the side opposite the on/off switch seen in the picture. Simply charge this battery, throw it in your pocket or wherever is convenient, plug in your passthru and vape to your hearts content ALL DAY LONG! This is WELL worth the $50.00 investment, which is about the cost of two regular stock batteries. You can read the specs here:

by the way, hats off to Geoff at tastyvape! my order was perfect and despite some confusion at the post office in Cali, I got it in three days! I ordered a bottle of sweetner and bottle of vg this time and he was nice enough to throw in a mixing bottle for free! You rock Geoff!

I know what the specs on this are, but I've been using one with my P/T for several months (Bought it before I read the specs...). I picked it up at a truck stop on clearance for $24.99. Works great for me (I have a M401 P/T, no battery)

Oh I did not know that your pt was an in line battery model. Well I am glad that you are happy with it!

Actually it isn't. There's no battery in the Smoore M401 P/T. As I said, I can't tell you why it works from the specs. I just know that it does work. I've tried the passthrough with 500mA restricted 12V - USB converters and it doesn't work, but it definitely does on this unit.

UPDATE: I just checked the label on the side of the unit, and it is listed as DC Output 5vdc / .75A. The battery rating is 3.7vdc / 3.0Ah Li Polymer

One feature I like about it is it has a nice pushbutton on/off switch.
One feature I DON'T like about it is that you can't use it in Passthrough mode. While it is charging, the output is switched off.

Well the key thing is that it works! As long as you are happy with it for the most part and you are enjoying your vape then I say what the heck! GO FOR IT!

Looks good! I tried a cheap power supply and it didn't work so I guess this is the only choice.

I used my setup all weekend with my passthru and Joye 510, worked perfectly! Hope everyone had a great easter! What makes my setup work is the inline battery in the passthru I got from cignot......

So output is less than 1 Amp? It might say on the box somewhere.

What about this one?

Amazon.com: Imax Power IMP500 3G 3Gs iPhone iTouch External Battery, 5000mAh: Electronics

5000 mAh? It looks interesting, but is 50 bucks. It's smaller than an Iphone tho..

I couldn't find the specs with a quick Google, but if it powers an iPhone it's probably 1 Amp (1,000 mA). I've used an iPhone wall-wart that put out 1 Amp. That's about the absolute minimum that I've been able to (barely) use, but it also depends on the atty. Maybe one of those new "low resistance" attys would work better.

According to Kensington, that "pocket booster" only puts out 0.5 Amps (500 mA), so it won't work well without a PT w/an inline battery. Bummer. Between the size of the booster and the inline battery, you may as well have a box mod (imho).
