Set your meter on the 20V setting, hold the red lead to the screw in the top cap and the black lead to the outer threads on the top cap. Now with your third hand (LOL) press the button on your IPro.

Hope that helps :)

Make sure it's the DC setting and not the AC setting. Bovinia has the rest correct so I won't post that. She's a smart lady.

Ark, you're smarter than the average bear! I forgot about the bottom cap. I just use the top cap since mine is brass, but I honestly didn't know if that would work on the chrome plated end caps.

it does. Chrome is very conductive. I wouldn't say I am smarter, jsut that with a degree in electrical engineering, that I have more experience.
