Using different mech mods together?

So I have a Maraxus clone and the firing button always misfires and gets hotfinger. One of my friends got a FUHatten and I tried to put his bottom part where the firing button is on my Maraxus, and to my surprise, it fit in the threads snug and worked! I liked the feel of it, and it was a magnetic firing button and didnt misfire or get hot. Now I was wondering if I bought a FUHatten and just put the bottom part on my Maraxus, is that safe or bad?

Well do you understand how mechs work? If it isn't likely to short then you are fine.

Double-check if the mod is still vented.
