Using more juice with rba's?

i got my first rba and i am going through more juice than i used for my carto tanks. its a cobra clone from FT. its only been a couple days since i got it working better than the carto tanks. first day i got it spent all my free time watching videos, modding it and making coils. went from 3ml to 5ml per day and i dont think im using it more than normally. is it the norm for rba's to use more juice than other atomizers?

Yes it's normal. It's why a lot of folks cut back on their nic level, when they get into RBAs.

That is my best guess. I'm blowing out clouds that are twice as big as my carto tank put out so it makes sense that it's using up more juice. Totally worth it though

It really depends on the atomizer. The GG-style attys (Odysseus, Penelope or their clones Terminator and Euforia) seem to positively sip juice. The Euforia holds 2.5-3ml of juice and lasts me all work day. I didn't get that kind of consumption out of a ViviNova, where I'd be refilling at work.

Genesis-style attys suck down juice like it's on clearance sale.

An RBA is going to vaperize more liquid than a carto for sure. Example: a 3 second vape from an RBA will consume more liquid than a 3 second vape on a carto which in turn equates to a bigger cloud being blown out

yes, compare to a clearomizer, let say a protank or MT3. It burns more juice, lot more taste at tongue/throat (less smell at nose), lot more vapor (higher wattage). The vapor somehow "feels wet". This is why I feel the clearomizer feels closer to smoking an analog.
