Using more than one atomizer?

not in the slightest.. all it will mean is they appear to last longer but u end up having to buy two at once.. just like light bulbs..

Not that I've tried this myself, but thinking about it, I think alternating atomizers might make them last longer. That's if we assume the punishment of continual overheating is the cause of atomizers dying, as opposed to some kind of buildup of sediment. Alternating between two atomizers probably means each one stays at a lower peak temperature than if you were to only use one the entire time.

If atomizers die due to sediment buildup instead of continual overheating, then alternating probably only delays the inevitable as trog suggests.
