I've been vaping now for 3 days and I'm still having strong cig cravings. Is that normal? I'm using "medium" nobacco juice, should I switch to high?

Anyway I'm using the patch (just put it on) to see if it'll get rid of my strong cravings. Is it safe to use the patch with vaping?

Are you sure it's not the fixation your missing??

Personally I would not do both, not sure you really need it. I would vap a little more and see how that works out, I would however have some stronger nic on order just in case you need a jolt.

Not a doctor but I would recommend against it myself. I do have a friend I turned onto vaping that apparently has a high tolerance to nic though. He was using the patch and vaping 18mg (also smoking w/ the patch before he vaped). He's now off the patch and using 24mg. I'd probably end up in the ER if I did what he did...

This "nobacco" liquid -- where is it from? The implication is that it contains no nicotine or is it someone's marketing name for what they think is a clever moniker for non-tobacco? Is 'medium' and 'high' referring to nicotine strength or flavor content? A link to the site would help --

I had every intention of using the patch when I first started vaping for the same reason you mention. I never did. Never even came close. There was no need to. I *did* adjust my nicotine level up to 24mg from the 16mg where I started for a very short period of time. You'll find a lot of people say they vaped more often than they smoked to satiate the need.

The nobacco juice is medium strength, butterscotch flavor. I got it from Vapor4Life.

I seem to be vaping almost nonstop and am still getting strong cravings for a cig. That's why I am trying the patch along with vaping --- but vaping much less. Only when I get a craving.

Went to the site, xdun. See, I don't care for the cute-sy name 'nobacco'. To me it's somewhat deceiving although they list the mg in front of the name.

Just be aware of over-doing it on the nicotine from two different sources. Most people would agree, I think, that simply upping the nicotine intake on the liquid is a safer alternative and better mimics the act of smoking. Be patient, ma'am... 3 days is not a lot of time to not be smoking considering how long you smoked before this.

Interestingly, there have been studies that show that cravings are at their strongest in 'threes' -- 3 days, 3 weeks, 3 months. In my case, I was done with smoking inside of a week after taking to vaping. No cravings, nothing. Coming up on 9 months now...

Good luck. =)

I Vap all day long too. I enjoy it and use 12-18mg. I use 18mg all day long. When I get home it's definitely 12mg so it doesn't goof me up for sleeping.

Smoked 2 packs a day before I started vaping, but I do have some 24mg for that just in case moment.

I checked the site again. It lists the Millileters not the milligrams. I bought the 5 ML bottle of "medium" strength juice.
