So was expecting my package from myvapestore today and there was nothing. Looked at tracking and it said it was sent through NY sort facility on Wednesday the 20th and it hasn't been scanned since. Does this mean I'm out of luck and lost $50.00 worth of stuff including my ego twist? :(
Who do I contact after the weekend if it doesn't show up or scanning by Monday?

I would give it until Monday or Tuesday. I've had packages sent from TX that said basically the same thing and it showed up about 3-4 days after saying it was in TX. It's probably in transit from NY to FL.

I have had orders take up to 9 days using first class with tracking. If it is priority mail I would contact vendor after the 3 day wait.

No, you have not lost anything. MyVaporStore is a a top notch vendor and will take good care of you.

If you haven't heard or seen anything by Monday, then you should contact MVS. It is always the vendor's responsibility to get the right product delivered to you in a timely manner, even if it is USPS' fault.

Also, depending on what your tracking number starts with, I'd check on Fedex.com. I had a package with the same issue (I think it was V2cigs) and when I called they told me to check the tracking number on fedex. Which made no sense because the link on the email they provided directed me straight to USPS.com I tried to explain that to the CS person and she just said "yeah, well it's shipping fedex and got real snotty. HTH!

Agreed!!! MVS is a great vendor. But (@OP) it has only been 2 days since it was scanned. No need to go into nuclear reactor full blown panic mode. NY to FL is quite a distance. 8-o It will probably show up tomorrow or Monday.

I would have to agree. Let the vendor chase down the package for you. Then let them deal with the carrier if it is lost or damaged. Any vendor that says anything like "not responsible for lost packages" doesn't deserve our business.

Unless of course they have a disclaimer of responsibility like this
From their web page Shipping and Handling
USPS offers speedy and reliable service at a low cost. However, they can and will occasionally make the mistake of mis-routing or losing a package. Unfortunately these errors are out of our control and we are not responsible for errors or delays by USPS.

It's up the the merchants decision of good customer service as to wether they will replace the items. They may be of assistance with helping to track the package. I've never dealt with this company, so I make no claim to know how they would react to a lost package. However, their policy is clearly "we are not responsible." And I've shipped products world wide for over 30 years, that's why there's freight insurance. The vendor is never responsible after it's shipped unless that is stated in the terms of the contract/purchase order. It's the shipping companies responsibility.

Thank you for the positive thoughts. I've had my share of USPS mishaps when I was selling on ebay. I had 10 items disappear through the Orlando sort facility in 2 months a few years back. Of course through ebay you always have to give the buyer their money back or suffer greatly. They never recovered anything and I lost about $300 but they did find a bad apple at that facility. Hoping some just got lazy and haven't scanned them. Anni...it's always a full blown nuclear reaction when I have my heart set on vape mail and it doesn't show up. :)

The USPS tracking you are looking at really shouldn't be taken terribly seriously. Sometimes they update it when they should and sometimes they don't. With your previous experience of loosing packages when you were selling through e-bay I can appreciate your concern but "most" packages do show up even if the USPS hasn't kept their tracking updated. Fingers crossed for ya ;)

I agree with that, I've had packages show up that were still showing as scanned in another state, or delivered while still being shown in the sort facility. All in all USPS isn't bad, but I prefer UPS or FEDEX Their tracking usually means exactly what it says, from my experience. Of course, they're more expensive than USPS.

Good Luck, I understand the frustration of waiting, I have three items on "preorder" at the moment, maybe by the end of April I'll be happy?

I've been lucky with this link reporting a problem.

Your local post office will call you with in 2 business days and try to track it down for you. I'd wait until Monday at least before reporting it.

I'd bet you get it tomorrow.
