Uwell Crown 3 for lower wattage vaper?

I'm currently using the Smok Big Baby Beast tank and the Joyetech ProCore Aries tank. The BBB is a leaking machine! I've changed O rings, I've cleaned and dried every piece, changed coils, I've done everything I've read to do to stop the leaking and NOTHING is working, on BOTH my tanks! The PCA is a good tank, it's got 2 fill holes and very rarely leaks, but I'm still not in love! I hate the coils for both, I use the coils for the BBB with the PCA bc it was a better option of the two, but it still isn't great.

I'm looking for something new, something better. I'm just now getting into the subohm pool so I'm thinking there has to be something better out there, I've only tried the 2! I was looking at the Uwell Crown 3, but heard it may not be good for low wattage vapers. I vape the .25ohm coil at 30-35W. So, would the Crown 3 be ok for that or should I keep looking?

Just in case anyone is wondering, I like a cooler vape, I care far more about flavor than clouds. I like sweet flavors, bakeries, sweet fruits, ect., so I know my coils will go out quicker, but I do need a coil that will last more than a couple of days! Nothing less than 4ml please, I'm having to refill my tanks WAY too much since jumping into subohming lol.

They are great tanks. Coils have a ceramic casing instead of metal, kanthal coils. The tank doesn't get hot. I run mine at 35w

Interesting new development, apparently the BBB is coming out with a better version next month! It'll have the airflow on the top and a bigger fill hole. If it works out, I won't have to worry about running out and buying new everything. It's even going to have an RBA head! I'm still keeping my options open, just interesting that I found that.

Yep! It'd be great if it actually worked. It would fix all the issues I've run into, even my issue with the coils has only seemed to really be an issue in the ProCore Aries tank, Idk if it's just blocking airflow or what, but I get a much dryer taste with the BBB coils in the PCA tank, I have to leave it a little loose in order to get a good flavor and then it causes leaking.

Oh, I couldn't find the date, just saw a site that said they'd start shipping Aug. 4th.

So, I bought the Crown 3 the other day, hot it in yesterday. I honestly forgot I even made this post lol. So I'm running into the problem I thought I'd have, it's not as good at the low wattage I vape. I did see they have a kanthal coil though, that's rated for much lower wattage, that I'm gonna try and see how I like it.

I love the Crown 3 with the 0.5ohm coil at 50-60w. The coils last for weeks, have never leaked a drop and never a single dry hit.

Negatives IMO are that the C3 drinks more juice than the BBB and there is no RBA. Also, I can’t see anyone vaping below 40w or so with this tank.

I have 2 of them and ordered about 50 0.4/0.5 coils, so I should be set for a couple years!

It's a great tank, but not for me. I'm gonna try to sell it and get some of my money back and keep trying lol. I'm looking at the Arco 2 tank, it looks like the coils are interchangeable with my BBB coils, but the coils that come with it look really intriguing too, if I can vape it at a lower wattage. I just can't vape higher wattages, it hurts my throat and chest and it's just not necessary for me, since the lower wattage works so well. I may just have to stick with my current coils, which isn't an issue, it's the tank I have the issue with, and it's not even a big issue (anymore), it's probably just me being me, wanting something different lol.

Not really. The .5 needs 70watta and the .25 needs like 80

I vape a Crown 3 at 45 watts and get to use a coil for about 200ml of ejuice before the coil needs replacing.

There is plenty of flavor too. I know that coil longevity and wattage will be ejuice dependant though.
This particular ejuice is Game Over Custard at 50/50.

I'd say you should try first. The factory recommended wattage is certainly not a must do.

I'm not a sub0hmer but do hear consistently rather good things about the Crown 3. I think it would suit your needs although there are also many folks about recommending the Fireluke tank as well. I'd say go wit the one that most appeals to you and it's easier to try out tanks (usually) than kits or mods, without too much initial outlay, so whether you love one or hate it, you can always try another tank down the road, even if you wind up keeping both in daily use. I think with some of these tanks, finding the coil you like best can be as much as a challenge as the tank itself. You certainly have some good options on the table, however.
