Now that you prime and ramp up as recommended what is prompting you to change coils? Is it a drop in performance or bad flavors, or is it the appearance of the coils?

If it's that the coils LOOK burned or singed but still perform ok then don't worry about it.

Another issue could be your juice. Heavily flavored/sweetened liquids will clog and foul the coil and wicking faster. I've gotten months out of a coil with unflavored juice and the same set-up will go south in as little as 2 days with a heavy liquid, much tastier though.

If the wording of this post seems off: Epic hangover is EPIC!

happy epic hangover haha

Right, it looks burned and it's not going too bad for now defo degrading in taste vapor production!
I've collected super good info on here (thanks everyone^^) so i'm gonna sit on this hald dead coil for a bit and see what else i can achieve with the next one! ;)

You poor thing, i once had one of those

Some people can have no issues, others, plenty of them, have nothing but issues

You should read: uwell crown coil heads dry hit

And when youre done with that, read this: Why im returning my Crown tank to Uwell

Where i detail my saga with my Crown tank

Theres plenty of reading on the Crown on here, but thats the best place to start

Thanks a mega bunch i shall have a good read over these (also sorry for late reply i've been working nonstop thanks for the fresh 2016 ;/ bookmarks created however!) doesn't make me feel that confident haha, but i shall see! at this stage I'm a lot more clued up already thanks to you lovely ppl:) x

New Hampshire or New Vapeshire
I have 2 crown tanks & over a month per coil no issues
there are fake coils out there so make sure yours are real
every company out there has made bad batches of coils so don't count it out.
I chain vape also & never have to let it sit after priming I take a few inhales without hitting the fire button then go to town. I agree with trying to "Fluff" the cotton in the wicking holes. I also clean my coils weekly so they seem to last longer

Yeah, I have these same problems. Performs amazing for 2 days, but I still can't chain vape. I'm running the .25 at about 65-70w, with Sigelei 150tc. Ive had it for two weeks and I'm on my 5th coil. Really frustrating. I use Lost Art Liquids (which are 60, 40) Is that a bad juice ratio to use?? Also I will try to fluff up the holes of the coils. I don't see how it would even be possible to crank this to the recommended 80-120w. I feel like a fire would start HA. Anyway, if anyone reads this and has anything specific I should do before I throw this thing in the trash.

After I was just about to switch to my 6th coil....I realized that It only does it when there is juice down inside and its a bit gurgle? I put a q-tip down in there, dried it out and it was working fine again. So I dont know. I wish there was a flawless sub ohm head that was consistent and easy to maintain. If there is what is it, although a lot of people said it was the CROWN, but not for me so far.

I've only had my crown 2 days, but I've been chain vaping a locally made Strawberry milk with my own coils in the RBA deck 0.5 OHMs on my Innokin Disruptor at 50 watts with no problem. I am getting leakage, but I think it's my wicking and I'm over filling. I am getting the impression this is a touchy little gadget. But it's an amazing work horse for me.

What do you do to clean the coils?

Nevermind... just let it sit for 10 min, took a big pull and feel like my lungs are burnt now... ha. I'm going to switch it out again and try the scraping of the holes.
