Good day!

The flavor will not be that good at 20-40 watts. It would be better to keep the wattage within the recommended wattage.

recently got a crown 4 kit in red i find that if you run in recommended wattage it spits and gargles so i’m now vapping it at 35 watts with the air holes full open and the taste is the same as recommended wattage love this kit now i’ve got it running properly thanks to great advice on this forum

Yes you can run it at lower watts.
I have mine at 40W with the airflow closed off to about 4mm and the flavour is good at that.
I will be posting my review of it on Wednesday.
