Getting the uwell crown and cain't wait, but I'm wondering if 70 watts will be enough for the tank, i'll be using the dual coil .5ohm and maybe the .25ohm if 70 watts is enough. Just looking for some advice before i get a 70watt mod or spend the extra money for 100+watts. If the uwell .5ohm dual coil works well under 70 watts please let me know your experience with the tank!

I would def get the 100+ mod or you'll be buying twice, maybe one that has temperature control in case you want to try that.. The Crown's 0.25ohm for me shines at 90w..
Eleaf have always been cheap, while some love them, I avoid them, their quality since becoming popular has gone down hill..spend the extra, it's always worth it in the long run.

Do you know a good high drain rechargeable 18650 battery to use? And do you have to use Temp control? is it temp control only?

There is no such thing as only temperature control, I have the SnowWolf 200w and use Sony VCT5 batteries.. No complaints here.

Illumn.com is a great supplier. For anything over 100w I like my VTC4s. Pair them (use the 2 together always) and charge them at the same time. I like my Xtar VP4 charger and would recommend it also. My mod is a Sigelei 150w, also very good.
Nice thanks, whats the Continuous Discharge current and the peak current on those batteries?

I just bought a Uwell crown along with the IPv4-s (10-120w). Also I bought extra coils, 0.25 dual and the Ni200 for TC. With the Ni200 coils u can set the temperature and run your mod up to 40w. But that's if you have a TC mod.

Check out these reviews for the crown.

Currently I'm vaping off my iStick 30, 0.5 ohm coils on my Aspire Atlantis 1 tank.

I feel like a bit of a noob not understanding if this is actually what you meant, but if it is then it's 30A continuous. I've read on here about a 60A pulse but I wouldn't go with pulse rating. 30A+ is recommended for the high watt mods.

I have a single battery nitecore charger that worked very well. I think they are good chargers and I think many users like them. It should work fine for any 18650 batteries, and I think others. I really like that the XTar VP4 tells me the voltage of my batteries, but it's my 2nd charger other than the nitecore.

I like Sony VTC4s in all mech mods and regulateds 100w and up. The Sigelei 100 and 150 are dragging their prices in the dirt right now because Sig is about to release TC versions and dealers are trying to clear stock. THese are serious quality products and I don't think they'll ever be cheaper. Do yourself a favor and dump on the iStick. The Nitecore i4 is a good charger. If the budget will stretch, I'd buy a Xtar.

You can get a Sig 150 and 2 Samsung 25R's for $80 from Wake and Vape, that is all you need.

As said the Crown 2.5's shine at 90 watts and that is spot on, the .5 will do fine at 60-70 watts. The .25 can and I have ran to 120 watts chain vaping without a dry hit so don't by a 100 watt mod. New tanks are here that are already capable of cruising on 100 watts so 150-200 is a good wattage to buy. You can also get the IPV3li for about the same price from the same place and there is temp control if you think you want it later.

Don't fret over getting VTC4 or 5's for that matter. I got both coming out of my ears and I still use the Sammy's all the time.

All over the place
Meh, I don't use mine above 60 watts or 50 Joules and I only use the .25Ω kanthal heads or the .15Ω Ni20 heads (so you should be golden with the .5Ω). Maybe it's because I use mine on an SXmini M-Class with the POWERFU+ setting, but I tried my tank up to 100 watts on other higher-power mods and it tasted no better; frankly, for me, it was more nuanced and enjoyable at 60 watts of no-ramp-time power. Otherwise it was just slow-to-heat, then it got hot and the extra heat provided no extra revelation to the flavor I was vaping. Your experiences may be different, but I wanted to post since the common refrain seemed to be "go higher". It's not wrong per se, just not written in stone.

And let me be the one of the few that says the Ni200 coils for this tank have just supplanted the kanthal heads. Absolutely in love and no higher than 50 J (and 450 F)! Could I use it higher? Sure. Do I need to, to be utterly satisfied? Hell no!
