Wrong, I can control the amount of vapor coming out by how hard I blow and with your example it just seeps out. I can even suck vapor through the ash/led cap.
BTW, it was Val who told me the manual batteries are NOT supposed to be sealed. Go figure.

You must have lucked out and gotten the super-new batch, the only ones that aren't.
I can't tell if you're being serious. Is this something that has been discussed? Are the latest versions really not supposed to be sealed?
This can get confusing too .I started vaping in March, my first batteries are 3/2010. I just tried to blow into the threads and nothing happened, so they really seem sealed.
They also look different from the pic Adrenalynn posted one day, it said you don't want to mess with the center post hole, dragons in there. It was a pic of an auto battery, and my manuals do not look like that auto.
All the manuals up until ~1mo ago were fully sealed. I don't have any later than that to confirm or deny.
I see. I got mine less than 1 month ago. So is it there plan to longer have them sealed? Or was it just a bad few batches recently?
No idea why they wouldn't be. Different interconnects, I'd guess. Hopefully that's not an ongoing trend - but Leaford would be the one to answer that.
Now that could affect how airy the draw is, right? (an accidental auto interconnect on a manual?)
There is a thread right now about a few manuals with airy draw, but
maybe not, because then people with autos would actually be saying their draws are too airy also.

Poorly sealed interconnects is more likely. I've had a few sent to me by users for analysis and repair now...
They don't look to be sealed at all. If I had a macro lens I'd take a picture. v1John could be onto something.

They're sealed with silicon. Craming something down into the center hole can mightily undo that effort though... Although they don't seem to be sealed terribly well.

Vapor4Life has taken care of every little problem I've had. They really are a great company and I'm reserved when it comes to giving praise to companies. I've always received freebies in my orders, every-time. The only grip I have is always missing the sales. As soon as I order a sale pops up! Arrrrrrg! I feel like Charlie Brown!

Are you able to blow into the threads? I was not, but airy draws on my manuals don't compute, mine are fine. I did find an old reused carto with alomost 4 ohms of resistance, but threw it away.
Would a non macro pic work if you zoom in and crop after the picture is taken?
