Just a note....no Flash with the iPad. Sorta like having a really nice and fast sports car, but only being able to drive around the block. As much as I hate the Adopey monopoly, no flash is a deal-breaker for me.

No Flash is absolutely a big deal. I would also want to wait for the 3G version. Remember how upset the original iPhone users were when they came out with the next model, and so soon!

Here is my list,

3 Systems at my primary desk on a KVM, all XP Pro, best is a Quad Core 6600 - 4th system on the side desk, i7 920 with Windows 7. 2 22" monitors. (note that my primary keyboard is a $125.00 keyboard, and I still can't type) But that desoen't match a customer with 5 $800 3D mice. At $800 it seems strange to even call it a mouse.

All 4 systems have VMs installed, XP Mode and VMWare on the Windows 7 VirtualBox and Virtual PC on the other 3 running multiple copies of Windows 7 and Vista. NOT using Vista, just a demo VM.

Also in the house, 3 other computers, 2 are Lenovo Thinkpads.

With all the VMs it's like having 13 systems to keep track of.

HTC Tilt2 Smart Phone Jawbone Icon BT, HP mono laser, Xerox color laser,

Multiple GPS stand-alone and integrated into 2 vehicles. (not on a phone, yet).

The iPad has been pretty good so far. I have it hooked up to WiFi at home and now WiFi at work. I'm syncing contacts and calendars with Exchange and have 3 e-mail accounts going.... Exchange is one of them. The battery life is pretty incredible so far. I started at 100% at 7:00 am this morning and it is now 2:20 pm and I'm showing 78% left. I use Evernote on a number of PC's (my desktop at home, my work laptop), and on my iPhone. The iPad Evernote app is pretty cool.

My best app so far is Netflix. I streamed a documentary last night on Classic Video Games and I was amazed at the quality. I also like Keynote (PowerPoint) on the iPad.

All in all the interface is pretty slick and everything works as advertised. There seems to be a problem (not really a problem) with charging the device from a USB port on a PC. This issue has now been widely discussed and it seems that most USB ports on PC's do not provide enough power to charge the unit while it's on.

@loner...love the setup! I thought I was cool with two monitors...haha
@rubberdux -- wow those are cool -- do you sell them on Etsy or anything? WANT!
Thank you, Lizziebith!
Loner's set-up is pretty cool, no?:) Just moved back to the states and started making these to unveil at the end of the month at local arts festival. I need to get better pictures made so I can start my Etsy account. If you are interested, pm me and I can send you more photos. Will hopefully have, at least 12 more finished soon-ish;)
