So I went to my docs yesterday, and he asked if I still smoked, I said no, I vape. Now keep in mind my doc is kinda old, and he goes "Oh you use an electronic cig?" And I said yeah I order from the best company out there. He asks if I have any cards, so I dug into my wallet and gave him about 20 cards that I had on me. I usually keep about 30 in my wallet cause of all the people that are intrested in it. He fully supports the e cig so he said he would put it in his waiting room for me.

thats awesome! I kinda can't wait to go to my next doctor visit so she can be happy and stop trying to get me to take chantix! Im not very big on pills....
hopefully people will see these cards in the waiting room and feel confident in looking into it because the doctor approves!

Yup, my doc is somewhat of a geezer like me and he was inquisitive when I showed him my e-cig. That was spring of last year and I was still a newbie, so I can't wait to get my next check up and exclaim that "it" allowed me to be smoke free for over a year. And I love the idea of placing V4L cards in doctors’ offices; I plan to do just that.

It's a shame the "Gubment" is being such "pinheads" about the legitimacy of e-cigs. Come on, gum, patches, drugs (Chantix – mind altering anti-depressants), has such a low effective rate of cessation.

Good Onya Kid! I wish Doctors who support us would keep some cards on hand to give to people personaly. That has more weight then leaving them in the waiting room. Stuff left in the waiting room is left there by the drug sales people.
My Dr. forgot I smoked, she wasn't suportive of E-Cigs when I tried them and a year and a half later forgot I ever smoked because my stats and lungs are so much better! (plus I don't smell like smoke)

Same here MK...for the first time since I was 18 yrs old my Doc. said that my lungs were clear of congestion and I also swim further then in the past...indoor pool, swimming and water excercises twice a week. By the way, the Doc. said after the lung check, ...., that's great...you must have quit smoking...that's when I told him about V4L...he was amazed...gave him some cards!!!....no cigs for 1 full year now.

I actually went there cause I have a non infectious ear pain and a cough caused by what did he say again? Mucous dripping into my throat. The smilin menthol is helping with the cough a lot. My ear still hurts, but I will be better soon he said.
