Thanks Uncle, thats actually what i just did, i was looking at those too... Oh man this is great, im in the same boat as you, my budget is tight. But with winning and the sale too, oh man this is too much... :toast:  I got some shopping to do....

YEP - While "My" Finances say other wise - I CANNOT PASS UP THIS SALE . . .Especially given that "Ray" doesn't really do sales and really doesn't need to with the prices he has on these . . . More Importantly, No One and I Mean NO ONE that sells Pyrex tanks prices them like "Ray" does . . . IMO - More Then Reasonable and the Quality is Superior . . . Just Sayin' . . .;)

I So DO NOT want to post this Sale Event in the PIF "Steals & Deals" Thread, before everyone gets a chance to place an order - but I do not want to be a meany either . . . So Just as a "heads-up" . . . Everyone get their orders ready and set to go . . . Because if it is not posted in the PIF "Steals & Deals" Thread by Midnight . . . I will be letting everyone know there at that time . . . Just Sayin' . . . ;)

I like the pyrex tanks, I was thinking the 4ml Sidewinder tank $32. Why SS caps? i thought the Aluminum ones would be good, or theres the Delrin caps... Oh man choices.... Whats the best???? And what ohm Cart do you think, the 2 or the 3 ohm...

Depends on your preference, and device... I use low ohm cartos... 2-2.2 ish... In my tanks, but those are mostly on mechanical mods. If yer using a variable device, the ohms won't matter too much, Cuz you can dial in your voltage or wattage to get the right Vape for you. If you are using a mech or other fixed voltage device (at 3.7) go with the 2 ohm cartos.

I just like the look of the SS caps, personal taste. I use a 3ohm cart , if I had a 3.7 device I'd use the 2ohm.

Well i got my VV/VW Mods, and for dripping which is about 80% of the time i use LR 1.5, 1.8ohm and usually stick with 2ohm-2.4ohm on other stuff like Clearo's. Is there any benefits to the 3ohm on a VV/VW Mod with the tank, I've had a few tanks, but they never really worked out well, i want to make this one just right, so i can finally be happy with a tank for once.. Any input would be greatly appreciated..

I too would go with the 2ohm carts. I'm at 4.8v with the 3 ohm. If you have a VW mod, it doesn't matter a bit but if you only have one and back up with a 3.7v, use carts you can use on either battery, the Lr.

Does anyone punch their own carts to get the holes lower?

Hmmm... good point. :)
And congratulations, btw! If you're more for substance than style... get a cpl poly-pros... they vape great, hold even deformed carts w/o leaking (as per Ray's PDF) and you could get 3 for the price of a Pyrex... just saying. ;-)

Ray, congratulations on your anniversary. I love my tanks!!!

As I understand it, the higher resistance will give you better battery life. They draw less watts to heat the coil the same amount.. so, they take longer to kill the battery. It has been my experience that higher ohms also provide less vapor, flavor and throat hit.

I have only ever punched my own cartos (except for the time I got some laser punched and I will not get those again!). But I do it with vice grips, a sharpie marker, hammer and panel board nails. And I put those holes right along the grommet... kinda causing those last drops of juice to sorta flow into the hole.

ETA: I also only punch one hole. And I use 85/15 vg heavy juice. Rarely do I have an issue wicking. Usually only after a refill, and that's a pressure, not a wicking, issue. Quick twist of the thumb screw fixes that!

I'm lovin my poly-pro... 5X+ taste compared to my pro-tank. But I'm looking at the juice under the feed holes quite longingly...
Thinking of taking my power drill to them... ( the carts, not the tanks ).
Do you have a Dremel? You can get a small diameter (3/8" or 1/2"), carbide cut-off disc and slot them without worry of destroying the filler. Why? Because you have much more control over "feeds & speeds". You can literally "just barely" penetrate the tube.
