It is way too hot outside, again. 100F and that's before the heat index! I'm staying inside on Sunday, enough of this...
Recap: There are only so many ways to use VVV as a logo and it's been done a few times. I know a DJ that went by VVV before he changed his "name", there's a video gaming club, and a couple of others. I like the star, it's kind of a Texas thing, and somewhat subtle. Living in Texas, I've seen that star as a tattoo on countless people. I've made my share of Texas star beveled glass door panels. As far as I know, it's unique in the vaping world. However, the Texas star usually has the 5 points split in half, like this...
That ^^^^ would look really nice when etched. I'll order a bottle of etching cream on the 1st of August and see what I can do. I've got some reading to do on the proper acid resist material to cut the pattern from, after that I'll be all set. It should be fun, at least it's what I call fun.
Congrats on your wife's improved condition jpf880, well wishes to her continued improvement.
I got a Silver Bullet, it's a very solid mod that should last a lifetime. A couple of folks that come around here have one, and I have to ask: how do you deal with the button? It's crazy hard to press in, my fat finger tips are having a hard time with it. It's such a pretty, solid mod, I would hate to have to sell it but I'm already frustrated with it only after 3 days of use. My finger tips can handle the pressure just fine, but it seems like overkill to me.
I tracked down sbdivemaster, the gophers didn't get him. He still posts on ECF daily, I hope I had nothing to do with his absence from the VVV contest thread. He left the thread right about the same time as the A.Rand fiasco that I feel wholly responsible for. My sincere apologies for any offense that caused. The "ignore user" option has been a aggravation saver, although I found it way too late. My bad.
That should cover a full day's worth of posts all wrapped into one! Stay cool folks, and stay hydrated. Happy vaping!
