3- Meh we are too far south for that, just rain here today and temps @ around 34, wet drive in but those just to the north have some snow/ice. With the traffic I sort of would have perfered snow, at least then a lot of the yahoo's would have stayed home.

CHAT - I woke early and lost 3 hours of sleep, but I am feeling okay :/ Still 2 hours to go...
Ahhhhhhhhhh, I am at the bottom of the barrel $ wise, I must hide my plastic in the dark for a couple of weeks and wait for more of this magnificent $ to grow from the $-plant... $ needs a 2 week steep!
Morning all! A bit of a chill here, but forecast says nothing major for 2 days and then a bit of a drop.
Noodlehead :/ Wake for coffee and then back to bed... What? Is it cold in LA??? You need coffee in bed to warm you?? Put some socks on, old manI am sweating here... darned flashes of fire burning up what estrogen I take in a pill :/

We had the biggest trouble finding good coffee after our local roaster sold to a group in Kentucky. (They did pretty well with maintaining standards but after a year they got bored and closed it down
) We found an awesome replacement (courtesy his tv show of course).. Combined with our new coffee maker it makes some of the best coffee.. Our old maker was getting really nasty. Amazing what a difference it can make..
That said, anyone want some? Today's is my favorite - Blue Mountain from PNG

4- That would be way too small for me, I brew my coffee for the day and bring it to work with me... I need a full 12 cup pot to fill my 2 thermos's and my mug for the drive into work, not to mention the 2-4 cups before I leave the house.

We had 12 cups on the old one but 8 cups is "ok". With vaping I tend to forget to finish my coffee at work until most of the way through the day.. (And worst case it brews in half the time of the old one so we can just make another pot.)
We've got some of the smart-home stuff set up (the "iris" one from lowes .. its mediocre unless you pay a subscription, which is just stupid money-grubbing..) Right. We've got some of that so I'm gonna pick up another remote-switchable outlet and then I can say that my cellphone really does make coffee
Wake up, hit the switch from the android app and by the time I get out from under cats and grab my slippers it'll be done.

Coffee.. I so miss ethiopian (sams choice) I know cheap, and shouldnt be good. But for some reason is was really good to me. Had a chocolate after taste, but not too much. No bitterness, full rich flavor. I would have the wife stop and check stores cities away every time she was traveling. She would buy them out if she found it. Im sure they still sell it in some part of the country still but it became too much trouble.
I cant stand a bitter coffee, so finding one I like it tuff. I also like hints of chocolate or other flavors. Have tried a few online places, just gets too expensive that way.
Still trying to catch a cold, sinus draining. Part of my juice taste problem I think. Oh well, im at work. Not sure how long I will stay.

WOW just adjust my wick on my dripper rba. Flavor went from muted, cant taste the anise at all. Too in your face BAM anice kick at the end LOL gonna be a fun day. Used the last of my Burn Out last night. Oh well, now to search for the perfect redhot/cinnamon flavoring to make my own

My co-worker is like that. In fact, he doesn't drink anything hot at all. This is weird in my world view, but not as weird as the guy I once dated who'd never eaten pie. How can you get into your 20s without EVER EATING PIE?!?!??

Don't feel out of place, caffeine is caffeine =] My ex drinks Coca Cola every morning - never coffee. In 15 yrs I saw him drink coffee 1x - he just didn't want to offend the person who made it and he drank it up like the rest of us
