5. 4/18 - Thought I would give you folks another pic I took of the nicer side of spring's animal kingdom. Actually it was the beginning of last summer, but they should be hatching pretty soon...

Black Witch Moth on a 2x8 beam. It was so big, when it flew I thought it was a bat.

glad we're good i absolutely meant nothing by it, although i thought it was intentional, in which case it was clever

Now "You" know I am not that "clever" or even that "witty" . . .

another long night ahead of me. this is going to be really tough for me to get used to wifey working. 9 hour shift at the office, followed immediately by a 6-7 hour shift with the boy. no more breaks, no more quiet time, no more 'me' time. 4 days a week.
i told wifey that i would be going out tomorrow night to promote, hand out fliers and sell event tickets for my upcoming show, she was not pleased, just the opposite in fact. i gotta have my one night out a week, not even a full night, just 2-3 hours, not just because my business is music, but because it my passion and my sanity.

cannot wait for work to be over. i keep staring at the clock thinking it will time lapse me into an hour and 15 minutes into the future. i need the Flux capacitor!!

thanks for improving my mood! unbeknownst to you, my mood was soured by a cowoker messing up one of my large accounts 15 min ago. amateurs!!!
her sanity is important to me, and while she deserves many breaks, being solo with the kid 40+ hours a week is not easy, she never takes me up on these offers. ill drive her to and from bar/friends/party/club/wherever, but she has little desire to go out these days.

Chit chat.
Snow day, lol. As if. I'm just hoping for a summer without a month of 100+ degree days in a row. I have another 10 oak wilt trees to cut down come July, as my chainsaw died early last winter. Nothing like cutting huge trees down in 100+ degree temps. I saw some snow here a year and a half ago. My dog was very confused, had no idea what was going on.

YEP - Morin' or the first flights out (as are most last flights of the day) are the WORSE anyone could take . . . NOT FUN at all, especially with all the carp people have to go through now at the Airports/TSA no matter where they are . . .
