Well, I've just gone past an important hurdle, today!
I tried the single coil build that came pre-installed in the tfv4 rba deck. The package didn't come with any specs for any of the coil heads, other than the fact I knew the triple coils needed at least 50w.
I fired up the single coil and it gave me a burnt tinny sort of taste, thinking it needed a break in, I carried on vaping. After some time... No change. I did some calculations and found that the single coil needs to be regulated at around a cool 30w! And max is 50w Give or take.
So I burned the coil, it's totaled! Lol. When I opened it up I saw the coil was black and when I removed the wick, I saw that it was in fact soot of some sort. I rubbed it further and some more the black stuff was coming off. But not completely. On another post, I can't remember the members name. My phone ran out of charge, major distribution. But they said you could soak it in alcohol and then it could be reused. Frankl, I couldn't be bothered with it.
The coil is a single coil build measuring at .7 Ohms, I think about 10 turns also I'm pretty sure it's a 24 gauge.
I didn't realize I was still rocking 90w from my triple coils!

So, from now on, I'm not firing any new coils without check the tables.
Can anyone tell me, what wattage the quad coils break in at?

I'm on it, Ninja. It's cool having access to steam engine to refer to, for accuracy, Ohms law is definitely a piece of mind and a big part of this community.
I understand how some people would try do discourage vapers... Because they just don't want to learn Ohms law and might have had a bad experience, idk. Or at least that's what I think. Generally, People around me don't have a hobby, so their go to, is to present a negative perspective.
I see them procrastinating and making excuses.

Lame Post form someone using something - Mod/Tank/Lawnmower/Kite.......they took no time to learn about.

Sorry Op, but you still talk as if you have no understanding.

Step One with a New Tank - Disassemble, Clean and inspect.
This eliminates chances of Contamination, gives one the chance to look for defects and allows one to Familiarize themselves with the equipment.
You would have seen the Power Rating and Coil type.

Step Two - Saturate a New Coil fully before use. You should not get Soot from a surface with liquid on it. Soot is a Dry Powder.

Didn't that Tank come with instructions? My TFV4 Did.

Yeah Crxess, dry fired it. I had to do it, man.
I did get an instruction manual, if you wanna call it that, lol. same as everybody else. I'm not one the type to brag about my failures. The point of the post was simple ... Based on others having a similar problems on previous posts, just relaying what I did and what happened.

Kudos to you, though. You hit the nail right on the head! I'm actually quite pleased that I have established some real communications. I dry fired it I had to do it, you know it.
But that stung though, I could've just sat there looking at the pictures, and learning to make opinions on many products I didn't buy! Haha...
Still thanks for bringing me back down to earth. Respect!✊

You can / should always start up a new coil at a lower than normal wattage, takes what 5 seconds to raise it up 5- 10 watts, after 4 - 5 pulls you will know if it's not enough and again you can raise it 5 - 10 watts till you find YOUR sweet spot, forget numbers and go by feel and taste more so, this will also apply to a new ( different ) flavor you just changed over to also

Yeah, that's how I started on my triple coils. Nice and gently and I'm still enjoying that coil. I've tried a few different flavors and all were excellent. I just came back from the gym, became absent minded and dry fired it (without the wick ) I think I just wanted to see it glow

Your talking about the pre-made coil for the rba deck ?, you can dry fire it and wash it ( the soot ) off and install new cotton

Yep, pre made single on the rba, I washed it put it back in my box. I'll figure it out later. I didn't think anything would happen if I dry fired it. I've seen them big dogs do it on YouTube. Grimm green, riptrippers... Right now I'm chilling with green apple and I'm feeling calm.

No mate...you did not see what you THINK you saw.
NO user dry burns a stock cotton coil unless they are rebuilding it. The cotton releases it's magic smoke and then it tastes bad forever.

I meant dry burning without cotton :) during a build. In their build tutorial, they fired the coils momentarily to tweak the coils.

Thanks to all, for the hospitality and attention I've received today. It's important that one has to understand critical information and basic fundamentals, especially when safety is concerned. Today was, character building and I hope my attitude in the vaping environment sets a better example In the future. I really do. I just don't want to go back to smoking! Like I said, in previous posts, I don't know anyone who vapes in our neighborhood. I'm pretty much on my own here.
Thanks for your support
