Vamo 510/eGo thread

Hi guys,

So I Got my Vamo v5 and pt2 a few days ago and I have read that the 510 thread wears down easily on the Vamo. So, I ordered a nautilus BVC as I find my Pt2 is going through juice really fast at about 5ml a day with less usage than before, and I see it comes with an eGo threaded cone and I was just wondering if it will help keep the 510 thread intact or if it is purely cosmetic?

It's purely cosmetic. I got an eGo to 510/eGo adapter for my Vamo after the threads wore down. It screws onto the Vamo's eGo connector, which is more stable, rather than the 510 connector. I just leave it on all the time. That way I can use either 510 threaded or eGo threaded clearomizers. Another option is to get one of the airflow adapters that a lot of vendors sell and just leave it on all the time. It screws into the 510 connector and has its own better 510 connector on it to screw your clearo's into.

The cone will not add to the performance of your attys or tanks but if you snug it up to the bottom it gives a little support if you knock your mod over and in my mind thats gotta help soft or poorly machined threading last a little longer than not using it. Less wobble, and impacts has to be a good thing. Id say use it it sure cant hurt.
