nothing is wrong with your vamo. mine fires for a fraction of a second after the button is released. not a flaw. just keep hitting on it until it stops. actually, IMO its better to keep hitting your PV even after the sizzling stops in an attempt to clear the remaining vapor from the juice delivery system and drip tip. the reason to do this is because if you dont, youll end up with more condensed vapor in the juice delivery system and drip tip than if you did not "clear it". this results in more of a liquidy mess in your drip tip, which rolls back into your juice delivery system. and vaping backwash is never top on anyones list of things to do.

my opinion is that folks are not noticing the tiny fraction of a second worth of vape at the end of each drag. of course its possible that they dont experience the extra bit at all, but my guess is that its happening and they dont know it. thats what happened with me. when i first got it i didnt notice it at all. then all of a sudden one day i just noticed it. and now that i have, i cant go back to not noticing it.

Not so simple with atty's though. If you keep inhaling after it stop sizzlings you'll actually pull in some juice. Cartos and clearos you wont. So figuring out when to stop inhaling on an atty becomes a task now.

Ran mine in Dual 18350 one time. Realized I didn't need the overdrive and decided since the tech is mostly from 3,7v design I'd stick with good 18650's for longer equipment life and less chance of battery balance issues. (RC electric flight experiences)

I just checked my Vamo with my IGO-L Dripper. With a well wet wick the Vamo is showing no lag. As the wick is depleted the coil takes much longer to cool. Confirmed visually watching coil reactions.

Interesting how steve k came up with just the opposite conclusions. he was comparing single vs. stacked 18350's. Makes me wonder about the consistency of the electronics built into them.

Coming from an RC aircraft background I have been dealing with Battery concern for many years before Vaping ever came to mind. Battery balancing can become a critical issue. This is one BIG reason Stacking is not recommended.

Only Time will tell as to reliability.

The biggest thing I got from his review is - There are better reviewers out there. Having used mine for almost 3 months I have to disagree on several points he made.
#1 being single battery performance. Panasonic CGR18650 2250's do decent and Ultrafire XSL 18650 2600mah Rock with no spring slop.

Vamo runs my Mesh wick tanks like a champ and dripping is awesome.

A different battery is not going to make a difference but that just my :2c:

Save your penny's. Just swapping from a cheap 18650 to a quality battery has shown increases of as much as .3 amps. In a 2.5 avg. limited world that is a significant difference.
Some batteries will only handle 5-6 watt draws while others can easily handle 10+ watts.
