Unless you're wanting to push dual core to higher voltages than a single cell can there really isn't much of an advantage in it but it shouldn't be an issue, just be educated and smart about it, I've been staking batteries in mods for years without issue. Never stack un-protected Li-Ion, never use them in a mod for that matter. If you're going un-protected then use IMR batteries, they are less volatile if something should happen, plus they have a higher current drain and as said above use the same two in pairs, that way they'll have the same number of cycles and wear on each.

Thanks for the replies, yes I guess stacking in RMS 2 mode would be no advantage except longer life. I like my vape at 8-9 watts. Anyway I just got some 18350's in the mail today. I will mark them 1A and 1B as I have another set coming that I will mark 2A and 2B. That way I can keep them in pairs and rotate top and bottom as tnt56 suggests. I'll try stacking these after they charge in a few hours and let you know what happens. I'll probably switch to mode 1 and experiment with voltage and pop the 1.5 ohm carto, lol. BTW always heard it was good idea to let the batteries sit for an hour or so after charging before placing in your device, don't know if this is true or not but I'm doing it. Any replies appreciated!;)

Don't know why people are so scared about stacking batteries. I've been doing it for a couple years with no problems. I've got so many mods and batteries the batts just naturally get a rest after charging. It does seem like a good idea since they can be warm to the touch right after a charge.

Well I've got the batteries in and have been vaping for a few hours. I don't know but it seems like I'm getting a bit better vape at 8-9 watts with the stacked batteries than the single 18650, more vapor and a little warmer hit. I switched over to mode one and tried at 4.5 volts and it was too damn hot of a vape for me but tons of vapor. BTW I'm using a 1.5 ohm cartomizer, 5ml tank. Back to RMS2 mode and at 9 watts it's a great vape. Now when I check the ohms on the device it's telling me my carto is 1.7 ohms, with the 18650 it reads 1.5 ohm true reading. The screen light is much brighter could almost use as a small flashlight. Battery cap won't screw on all the way (button tops) not a big deal. Battery cap not getting warm when vaping. Vamo reads 8.2 volts fully charged. I vaped a little heavy for a bit and pulled the batteries and they were not warm at all. So far so good, have the batteries marked so I can rotate top to bottom after every charge and keep them in a pair. When I get my other set of 18350's I will use these for mini mode single 18350 when I take to work. I'd just like to say I'm very happy with my Vamo, it's the absolute best mod on the market for the price. Like it so much have a SS Vamo on the way with some vivi nova heads. Ordered the SS Vamo and vivi nova's from Vapor Break $29.99 for the Vamo and $6 a piece for the viva nova's can't beat that price.

Don't be surprised if the Viva Novas don't work well. There have been a lot of posts from people reporting problems with off brand Vivi Novas. I picked up some of these reasonably priced Boge Viva Novas from Vapor Beast. They have worked well for me and don't turn my juice into revolting, dark, tasteless goo as the tank empties the way the Vision Vivi Novas reliably do.

Thanks much, just ordered a couple, great price with free ship. I actually bought my Vamo that I'm using now from Vapor Beast.
